From
IGN.com
in addition to licensing Civilization III from Atari, Com2Us has also secured a global deal to bring the famous Hasbro property to cellphones. That"s right, you"ll soon be enjoying the Transformers on-the-go, thanks to Com2Us. Whether Transformers will be based on the classic generation one series on the more recent franchises, like "Armada" and "Energon" remains to be seen.
"We"re thrilled to build on our solid relationship with Atari by licensing Transformers, a very popular television cartoon, comics and video game franchise,? says Com2uS Senior Vice President Henry T. Yeh. "We will use our experience as one of the leading mobile content providers in the world to give fans and gamers excellent games based on the Transformers franchise."

Using the code number provided by Loosecannon I headed down to Argos at lunch just now, tapped in the code and walked away with one of the first Alt Windchargers sold over the counter of a normal store in the UK. Make sure you do not try to use the automated paying, as he is not in that list yet but will appear when you check the stocks in the normal way. But the main thnig is he"s out now and you can pick him up three days early.

It would appear that Galaxy Force toys Guardshell and Gasket have now been released in Japan. The Japanese Image Board, http://transformers.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/imgboard.cgi, has a picture of both the toys. Since that site does not like referral links, you will need to copy and paste the address into a new broswer window. Check the Japanese Image board later in the evening and tomorrow morning for what will no doubt be more images of these toys. Parents beware, the Japanese image board can sometimes contain images of a pornographic nature and may not be suitable for children.

Transfandom.com are reporting that ....
once the after-Christmas toy aisle reset was complete at your local Wal-Mart, that all of the Transformers Universe has mysteriously disappeared? This seems to be a trend arising, at least from some initial reports, including my local Wal-Mart. There has been no official word if Wal-Mart has actually stopped stocking Universe but its something to keep an eye out for.
We"ll be keeping an eye open for more news on this story as it emerges.

With mixed news for UK fans now is the time to show your support for Transformers and register for
Auto Assembly 2005, the UKs only scheduled Transformers convention of 2005. 2005 is an important year for Transformers no matter where you are in the world, so its never been a better time to attend, whether its your first convention or you"re a seasoned convention vet, join the celebrations of the year Transformers:The Movie was set. The organisers of AA2005 are working overtime trying to get more exciting things confirmed for this event, and like any event of this kind, they need your help to make it bigger and better. By pre-registering it helps the organisers spend more money on the things you want to see, so pop on over, sign up, use their adverts and spread the word.

Thanks to I-Primus for posting this on our message board
here.
...The new Spring/Summer issue is now out & count out Index for the next six months if you"re after Transformers "cause they ain"t go "em.
In what seems a very limited toy section Transformers don"t get a look in. Whilst you will find the old TFs on clearance via the web-site all you"ll get via the Catalogue are PRs, TMNT & bits of Batman/Spiderman.
It has been a mixed day for UK fans, with postive news from Argos and negative news from Index
