Drift may well be the rumoured "Samurai looking to regain his honor by joining the Autobots" character, which would kind of tie in to the IDW Character of the same name.
Nelson, admin of Shoot for the Edit, has pointed out that production names do not always end up being final names .. though it's probably unlikey they would change

In the July 2013 issue of Kero Kero Ace a one-shot comic by Naoto Tsushima was produced for the Transformers GT franchise. The comic features the 4 announced GT robots as well as all of the GT Sisters and the campaign figure Safety Prime. The comic features the Prime, Saber, and Maximus racing with Megatron interfering and Safety Prime getting involved. Naoto Tsushima has also tweeted someimages of the manga.
The latest issue of Figure King has hit news stands, and with it a bunch of new news to speculate about. In the issue is some excerpts from TakaraTomy's Transformers designers, among the things mentioned are:
The samurai motif for Transformers GO! was created to appeal to TakaraTomy's customers.
Response to Encore 23 Fortress Maximus was greater than expected - therefore the Encore line will continue.
Masterpiece Prowl & Streak's orders exceeded TakaraTomy's expectations - so the figures are delayed as a result of increasing production.
An announcement regarding Masterpiece Smokescreen is impending and the figure will feature a lot of new parts compared to Prowl & Streak.
TakaraTomy's designers are going to continue to bother car companies about licensing their vehicles for the Masterpiece line.
TakaraTomy's version of Metroplex will feature different colors and an additional gun compared to Hasbro's mass retail version.
Tokyo Toy Show will run on June 15th & 16th.
The first 3 Autobot GO! figures will be available to purchase early at the show.
Masterpiece Tigertrack will be available for 6,000 Yen at the show and will feature non-chromed versions of Lambor's Amazon.co.jp exclusive pile drivers over the default pile drivers included with Masterpiece LamborExpect a bit announcement at the show. Could this be Masterpiece Smokescreen or something else?
McDonald's will be running another Transformers Happy Meal promotion starting June 21st - could there be GO! Happy Meal toys on the way?

Joblo have posted an article from a "source" claiming to confirm who some of the Transformers will be appearing in the latest live action movie. This should very much be taken with a pinch of salt as the script it's supposedly from could easily be a fan produced piece of fiction. For those not wanting to be spoilt, look away now.
From Joblo:
That's right, folks, our source has confirmed that TRANSFORMERS 4 will feature none other than the famed Dinobots, including fan favorite Grimlock. No word on whether he'll retain his neanderthal voice, but one can only hope he does as that's a true staple of the character. One of the villains of the film will be a character named Lockdown, who has a ship full of decommissioned Transformers, including the dinobots, which are somehow brought back to life by a captured Optimus Prime. Prime is joined by returning autobot Bumblebee and at one point both characters (and potentially others) will "ride" the Dinobots into battle in Hong Kong (which fits well within the announcement that the film would film partially in China), with Prime on Grimlock and Bumblebee on a Pterandon, presumably Swoop.
Additionally, the autobot Hound will make his debut, as well as a former "Samurai" Decepticon that wants to regain his honor and become an Autobot (UPDATE: Source confirms this is Drift). And what about Megatron, who is presumed dead after the last film? Well, fans of TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE will be happy to know that not only will the dinobots be making their debut, but also Galvatron, who is basically Megatron "reborn" (and originally voiced by the first Spock, Leonard Nimoy).
So those characters who are listed are:
Optimus Prime
Grimlock
Swoop (assumed)
Lockdown
Bumblebee
Hound
Drift
Galvatron
