After this weeks sightings of two Cybertron toys in the UK, its looking more ilkely that they were imports from Europe, and not the initial phase of a wide release within the UK. Also, thanks to GaZ, for confirming
here, that Woolworths
".... are not yet stocking anything TF related. New planograms will arrive in January...".

In an update on Don Murphy's Message Board, writer Roberto Orci stated that Arcee has now been dropped from the new Transformers Movie.
"I hope that all those who hate Arcee will be gracious to those who love her. And to all those who wanted to see her, you should know the decision was not based on a mere dislike of the character, nor an attempt to defeminize the franchise. The decision is, at this point, story driven."<

Looks like the UK finally gets Cybertron figures, as
reported by Toymachine and his two finds in Scotland.
Popped in to my local CO-OP this afternoon in Glenrothes, Fife and they had Scourge and Jetfire.
They were £24.99, I was really tempted to pick up Scourge, but I decided to wait for Woolies to get them in first, hopefully they'll be cheaper.
Thanks for the heads up Toymachine.

Non-Transformer related, but as most of you will either know, or wake up to, there were three to four explosions this morning at the Buncefield fuel depot near Hemel Hempsted (Hertfordshire) here in the UK at 6:05am this morning. From the news reports that have come in over the last three hours, the blast is being reportedly heard as far away as Tauton in Someset!!
First if anyone lives in the area around the Buncefield depot, we urge them to get intouch with friends and family to let them know they are okay. If anyone is planning on travelling through the effected areas, then you are best to find alternative routes. The explosions are currently being treated as an accident, and casualties have been reported.

LA Times.com are reporting that Paramount are set to buy out Dreamworks!
"The entertainment industry was startled Friday when Paramount Pictures swooped in and struck a deal to buy DreamWorks SKG, the independent movie studio that rival NBC Universal had spent six months pursuing, according to sources close to the matter.
As recently as October, Paramount had publicly denied any interest in the acquisition after its parent company, Viacom Inc., balked at the high asking price of $1.5 billion including assumption of debt. But Viacom's board approved just such a bid Thursday, provided that outside investors help finance the deal.M"
