The following information has been taken from the latest Master Collectors news letter
Astrotrains Minicon team are the Giant
Planet Team. Longarm has been repainted orange and blue or maybe
purple, Overcast has been repainted blue or maybe purple and gold,
Deepdive's coloration is a little difficult to find out from the image,
other than some gray on his shoulders. Also, it looks like Astrotrain
is part of Cannonball's crew, another suggestion from the Club forums
made reality.
There will also be an as of this date
yet unannounced second club exclusive figure to be released around the
same time as Astrotrain this fall. The Astrotrain figure will come with an illustrated text story. Thanks to TFWorld 2005 for the news.

Its
trademark update season it would seem, as three more
Trademark applications have been updated by the USPTO. Here are the details
The mark
TRANSFORMERS : which was recently submitted to the paralegal team, well it seems that they have finished their work as the Trademark has been accepted under Section 8 (6 year usage). No this not the original Transformers mark that Hasbro applied for, but one they was submitted in October 2000.
The next update is that
SCAVENGER has been passed to the paralegal team to decide whether or not the mark will be accepted under Section 8, and granted an extension of use.
Finally the mark of
SILVERSTREAK has finally been registered. Its registration number is 3149198. Its took almost 27 months for Hasbro's application to become registered, which compared to some, is pretty good.
For the latest updates and new Hasbro Trademark applications, stop by our
Transformer Trademark area which is updated first.

On the 7th September Hasbro applied for two new
Transformer related trademarks with the USPTO:-
- CYBER STOMPIN' - 76665721
- KNOCKDOWN - 76665720
Please remember that both are simply applications, the names may not get used, and may not be granted. Also, Hasbro do not file for every mark that they use, so these is not indicative of the actual number of new characters / toys / items.

In a post on his message board,
Don Murpy updated eveyone on the progress of the filming of the
Transformers Movie Today is the last day of main unit shooting. In two hours we'll
break for lunch. Then blow up more S#!% in downtown LA. Next week a
reduced unit with very few actors will head to different cities and
pick up some establishing shots. Then some of the team will head to the
Frozen North. The film is basically done today boys and girls. And by
done I mean filming. If ever there was a film that was really going to
be made in post production, this is it. Much editing and many effects
to go. How do I feel? There is a promo reel that has been put together
for exhibitors and retailers that is mind boggling. There is a trailer
being put together for later this year that should blow your mind. I'm
feeling pretty good that we've made a film that you will like. Only
time will tell. The trailer will no doubt debut on YouTube, via a leak, before appearing on
www.transformersmovie.com
