Another Toymaster store, T4Toys Ltd has gone into receivership. This follows on from the closing of all of the Toymaster Kingdom, Toymaster stores. Not only is this sad news for indepdant UK toy traders but its very much a sign of the times, with more independant UK stores expected to close within the next 12 months.
We'll keep you up-to-date on further closures within the Toymaster group as we hear about them.

Pete Sinclair posted a story on the TFW2005
message board regarding the Transformers Collectors Club hainv an official Transformers: Classics comic.
I posted this in a thread on the Classics but it probably will get lost and I wanted to make sure this info got out there.
There actually will be an official fiction written for the Classics
line. As announced at BotCon, The Collectors Club will be putting out
the comic courtesy of Hasbro's own Forest Lee. It will appear in the
Collector's Club Mag starting this January. PLUS, it won't stop there,
as the pages of the Magazine will have more Classic's goodness.
So, time for a quick plug, if you are not a member of the Club now is
the perfect time to join. I make an announcement on the front page of
the TF Newsletter in the issue that hits the streets November 25th. In
it is a quick look at what we will be doing for 2007 in the
publication. Plus, two club exclusives on the way soon, the year 3 free
give-away toy plus some more exciting things in store for all the
members. Wish I could say more, but so much cool stuff in the works.
Now really is the time to join!

We missed it, but on the 29th October
Transformers @ The Moon celebrated it's 7th birthday!! Our Message Board,
Sake Comments, also recently celebrated it's 5th anniversary.
Back in October 1999, we'd only had the internet for a sort period of time, and Transformers resources were far less then there are today. There was no TF World 2005, there was no Transfandom, no TheTransformers.net, no Seibertron, no TFormers (although one of it's previous incarnations was around in some form), just to name a few of the "big boys" in the Transformers fan-world.
We decide with our love of Transformers, rather large collection (though a fraction of what it is now), we wanted to be able to offer something which you couldn't find anywhere else .. clear pictures of the Transformers toys. We started, as everyone else, taking pictures against carpet, but then introduced our white-card backgrounds, something which almost every Transformers website uses now.
If you want to read more about the history of our site, then have a look on our
Transformers Forum, where I'll be posting a bit more detail. Other then that we'd like to thank all the people who have visted the site, all those who have contributed to our small community, and all those who will make a contribution in the future.
There may only be two of us at Transformers @ The Moon, but rest assured we've loved the last 7 years working on the site, and hope to bring you many more.

We've never heard of him, but Canadian comedian Brian Cox has audtioned, and it sounds like got a role, in the
Transformers Movie, according to an article on
TFormers.
The article doesn't mention who, or what, he voices, just that he is one of the voice actors on the
Transformers Movie.

Play.com is offering an contest where you can win an
Optimus Prime VS. Megatron statue, though the competition ends on the 12th November.
Seibertron.com have the full advertisement, which reads as follows:-
There have been many great scraps over the ages: Ali vs. Foreman, Bush
vs. Gore, Corrie vs. Eastenders and many more. However, none of these
duels can rival the most exciting bout of fisticuffs ever seen;
Megatron vs. Optimus Prime! The fiercest of rivals, their titanic
struggle finally met its conclusion in Transformer the Movie. The
result? A disputable draw. What followed was one of the greatest
animated adventures ever seen, as the remaining Autobots battled to
defeat Unicron, the world-devouring planet and the malevolent
Decepticon invaders.
To celebrate the enduring success of Transformers the Movie, we're
giving away a very special prize indeed. Take part and you could win a
limited edition model of Megatron vs. Optimus, based on the epic movie
battle! With interchangeable and removable parts, you can manoeuvre the
two rivals into a number of postures. In addition, the winner will also
receive a certificate of authenticity and a mini-poster! You'll have
the touch and the power if you emerge victorious!
Question:
Who is the primary villain in Transformers?
Megatron
Starscream

TFAuctions.com is proud to announce our first advert. We have enlisted the help of some well known voice actors to help create the advert for us. The first of the five adverts has been created by voice actor Michael McConnohie who lends his talents to G1 Tracks and Cosmos. We would like to thank Michael for his work and amazing talent.
These adverts have been created to promote the site and also offer some humour out at the same time, please feel free to post any comments or ideas you may have for future adverts as we are currently working on 4 others.

For once the latest information from the Japanese hobby magazines, in this case Hyper Hobby, doesn't come via Fan to Fan but from
The Allspark:
According to his report, 2007 will feature
two lines: the Japanese release of the movie-based figures (presumably
the same figures we're getting over here), as well as another series
featuring what he describes as "daily necessities".
Additionally,
the Beast Wars series will be rebroadcast on Japanese television, and
some toys will be re-released. One can assume they'll be getting the
Beast Wars anniversary figure from this bit of info. The Japanese market will see the Transformers movie around the same time as America, as it's slated for release in summer 2007.Finally the Classics line may see a release in Japan
Their report is confirmed by
Snakas, on Autobase Atachi, where he also covers the latest edition of Hyper Hobby.

The line may still be very new but eagled eyed Transformers fans have already spotted a variation of the Transformers: Classics Bumblebee toy. According to The Allspark member Nightviper
.. he discovered at a local Walmart a
resculpt to Bumblebee's chest where his rubsign sits. The old rubsign
spot wasn't big enough for the rubsign.
