You can read more about this at Toy News

Older News Action-Figure.com have a report from the UK Toyfair regarding a future Star Wars: Transformers toy, a Darth Vader Death Star!

"The item in question is a new Star Wars Transformer. It's Darth vader, and the one I saw stood 10 - 12" tall (at a guess). Whilst I don't collect the Star Wars Transformers line, I instantly recognised that it wasn't the one that transforms into Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.

Instead this one transforms into the Death Star. I didn't see it transformed, so have no idea how good or bad it looks, but I expact we'll see it at the US ToyFair next month."

Once again, thanks to Seibertron for the spot.

Transformers Movie News Pocket-lint have an article regarding a Transformers Movie Scalextirc set, due to be released in the UK later this year. The item, which will probably get a world wide release (the website it has been reported on is a UK website) will be the second Transformers Scalextirc set to be released.  They have others planned for possible Transformers Movie Sequals.

"There are potential plans to do more sets with more characters however only if the film is successful and a follow-up movie is released within a couple years",

We still have our original, although not in the box, with both card (on cards) and the car it came with - which was a mixture of the two (as it was second hand).

Thanks to Seibertron for the spot.

Older News TFW2005 has received word about this year's convention exclusives ... which will apparently be a boxset of 5 characters using Classics Transformers! The information, along with images of the new Breakaway figure, the new comic, and some colored profiles can be seen in the latest magazine.

This supports the rumours we had been informed of a few months ago, and our hope for the "background 1 seakers" continues.

Older News After speaking to Joanne who works at the Westin Providence hotel a few moments ago, I leaned that the hotel appears to have already been fully booked out of double-rooms for the BotCon convention! This seems quiet strange and I'm not taking this as 100% accurate due to some mis-information I have received from them during my booking, but I wanted to share this information with everyone and warn them to book as soon as possible.

The BotCon rate, which went live in their systems today, is $129 + taxes compared to yesterdays rate for the convention of $179 + taxes.

Though we received our free pass once again this year, due to work commitments we can not attend the event. Older News It sounds like an April's fool joke, but Big Bad Toy Store have a listing for some transforming Nike Trainers, in the form of Optimus Prime and Megatron. The toys hold more than a passing resembelence to the old Nike-Bot from a few years ago.

This new series features 1/2 scale transforming Nike shoes! These licensed items should be somewhere around 6" in length in shoe mode and it looks like they even have real laces connected to the top of the shoe. Convoy and Megatron are also each sporting a miniature pair of Nike Free 7.0 as a finishing touch
