That's what Seibertron's webmaster
Ryan is reporting after checking the online status of his order. He hope to have the toys later today, to host images. The toys, which have appeared on several sites (especially AcToys) on several occasions previous, though these will be the first "officially release" images of the toy ... assuming no-one beats him to it.

Hasbro have announced they will be hosting a webcast from the US Toy Fair on Wednesday 14th February. Both Seibertron and TFW2005 will be at the event competing to report the latest news first.
The information expected from the show includes images of the Star Wars Transformers Death Star and Transformers Movie preview figures. Once again the Movie Figures are expected to be kept under wraps, although leaked versions have been on the internet for months.

UK Transformers convention
Auto Assembly will not be taking place this year.
That's the sad news from convention organisers Sven Harvey and Simon Plumbe. The event had been doubtful, due to non-convention issues, and yesterday the Auto Assembly team
confirmed that the event would not be
taking place.
With Transforce 2007 also on hold, this leaves the UK without a
Transformers convention for the first time since 1998
(and will be the first time in 5 years that Auto Assembly will not take place).
It's all not bad news though, as the AA team (Infinite Frontiers) have said they are hoping to arrange a general Sci-Fi convention.
Finally, while there won't be an AUTO ASSEMBLY in 2007, there WILL be an event from us here at INFINITE FRONTIERS... we are
currently in the early concept stages of preparing to run a small scale sci-fi and collectors fair here in Birmingham some time in 2007!! It
will be a similar event to those found across the UK with dealers and VERY cheap admission price covering Transformers, comics, sci-fi
merchandise and everything else.. but we'll release more details on this as we have it so watch this space!!

Amazon have the cover of the
Transformers Movie Prequal book by IDW sporting a new Transformers logo, simply TF in silver writing. I think it actually looks pretty nice, and can already see it selling sell on standard black t-shirts.
Thanks to TFW2005 for the original spot.

That's the report on
Toy News, regarding 2006's financial figures regarding the toy industry in the United States. It's not all bad news though, as they are predicting an increase in 2007 due to movies such as Transformers and Spider-man.
"Action Figures, which performed strongly in 2005 due to the huge
success of Star Wars products, experienced the largest decline in
dollar sales in 2006, dropping by nine percent and generating close to
$1.25 billion.
According to Frazier, the Action Figure
super-category can expect to see increases in 2007 because of the
release of major action movies. "As a rule of thumb, licensed
product will comprise approximately 25 percent of total toy sales in
any given year," she said. "With movie releases such as Transformers,
Spider-Man 3, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, the action
figure super-category should realize gains in 2007." "
