Various
trademarks for the usage of More Than Meets The Eye had an update in their status yesterday to
Priority Action Mailed. Nothing really exciting, but an update never the less.

We are extremely pleased to present our exclusive, world's first full, image gallery of the
Japanese Store Exclusive Inflateable Unicron Display from 1989. The piece is our first store display item, and is the first Unicron item which was made available to people outside of Takara, although was never intended for the public market.
If you scout the web for image of this item, you're likely to be re-directed to our
Unicron Prototype page, but now you will find 30 images of this incredibly rare and unseen item.

For those interested in trying to purchase a Wonderfest Binaltech Black Convoy from e-Hobby, you may like to know that their first to order times, 06:30 and 12:00 both sold out within a few minutes. Our order, sent at 06:36, was too late. We expect the final order time, 21:00, to have already been filled (although their is no indication on how many toys they have set for each time).
Update: 12:13 GMT
It's now reached the 21:00 deadline for the final orders of BT-17 Black Convoy from e-hobby shop, and their websever can no longer cope with the amount of traffic hitting the server. Confirmation that the items are fully sold out should filter onto their website within the next hour.

Fans have been after it for a few weeks, and after spotting a request on The Allspark, I though I'd put my new 9 megapixel camera to work. As we previously promised, the second half of our
THS-02B Black Convoy gallery has now been uploaded. The images contain 32 new pictures of THS-02 Convoy with
THS-02B Black Convoy's Generation Two Optimus Prime "US Comic version" head, as well as Battle Damaged Convoy head (which is actually quiet disapointing).

Thanks to Nevermore for letting the other members of the
Trans-Europe-Express know that Alternator Ravage II is now out in Germany.
In the same article, Nevermore explains the true nature of T-Day:-
Hasbro Germany came up with a special "event" called "T-Day" that's
supposed to bea featured at German toy stores. Well, apparently it's
just a TV screen airing episodes of Cybertron and a dense employee
asking really stupid questions that aren't even particularly well
thought out ("what colors do the Autobots have?"). Also, Alternators
Ravage (Jaguar) is now out in Germany, but despite earlier rumors it's not supposed to be a special edition for "T-Day" but actually a mass retail release. Thanks also to Quickmix for the
first reported sighting

Groundsplitter, the webmaster of
NTFA, let the
Trans-Europe Express group know, back on the 28th Feb, that the following Transformer Classic figures have been sighted in Sweden.
Astrotrain, Ramjet, Cliffjumper, Jetfire, Grimlock and Mirage. The deluxes are priced at 149 SEK.
This is potentially good news for the UK since, as
we reported on the 28th Feb, Woolworths recently updated their website with a listing for Astrotrain, so hopefully Grimlock and Mirage are not too far behind.

The USPTO have updated two of Hasbros Transformers trademarks. Neither were major updates, both were simply ot say that the Section 8 papers had now been recieved. This was to do with a 6 year renewal. The most interesting thing is that marks were up for the 6 year renewal in 2002 and 2003! The marks are
Beast Wars and
Inferno.

Allspark member Mighty Gain, has posted an image gallery of his latest purchase a gold Generation One Hot Rod toy which you can view
here. The story he was told when purchasing the item was that it is a a commemorative anniversary item distributed 20 years ago to Takara's staff much like the
Gold Convoy statues and the
Silver Chromedome. There are, however, a few things that seem out-of-place with this item when you first see it, and so we are trying to investigate its authenticity. The main areas of concern is that the toy is in a US retail box and not a Japanese one, which would have been the box used at the time. The item also appears to be missing all of the weapons which should also have been gold chrome. The only Generation One "lucky draws", other than an Junior giftset, were both statues (two different gold Convoy statues and the silver Chromedome one). Hopefully our investigation will turn up more on this story in the coming weeks.

The first images from Transformers: The Game, the new computer / console game based on the
Transformers Movie has been shown at
IGN. The image does not contain any in-game graphics, and is little more then wallpaper advertising the game - though it does include a large render of
Transformers Movie Bumblebee.
