Force Chromia (Transformers Cybertron Thunderblast) in the colours of
female Transformer Elita-1. Back on March 30th we broke the news that Hasbro were trying to
trademark the name
Elita-1, could this be why?

TFWorld2005 have an interesting article from a couple of ebay sellers who have had their auctions for a G1 Megatron and Masterpiece Megatron removed by ebay due to
"breaking their firearm rule".You can read more about it
here. One
positive from a collectors point of view (who already own the toys), is that if eBay cannot sell them, the price-tag associated to the toys will increase.

Six of

Starscream and
Blackout, as well as Fast Action Battlers
Bumblebee and
Barricade.
The figures, as usual for Transformers Movie testshots, sold for quiet a bit more than the RRP they'll be released at, and will probably reappear on ebay soon. The auctions were by SPX and Peggy

GameSpot has the
first look at the Transformers The Game computer / video game due for release on the Nintendo DS. Here's a snippet to wet your appetite.
In a nice nod to the "east side/west side" split between Autobot and
Decepticon fans, developer Vicarious Visions is cooking up two versions
of the game, each featuring one of the two warring robot factions that
wind up bringing the fight to Earth. We had the chance to get a demo of
the games, and they're both looking like solid 3D action titles that
serve as yet another feather in Vicarious' peacock-like hat of
accomplishments on Nintendo's dual-screen system.

The Allspark has an
news story regarding an article in TIME Magazine covering "fanboy influence on the movie industry". They use the Transformers Movie as an example
The current issue of TIME Magazine features an article called "Boys Who Like Toys," covering the influence "fanboys" have on the movie industry. Naturally the Transformers Movie is used as an example, citing both the casting of Peter Cullen and the
screenplay by "crazy Transformers fans" Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. This is interesting, as only a few days earlier Nelson (the admin on Michael Bay's blog) pointed out that the "fanboys" had no influence over the film what so ever, and that there were only three people involved in the decision making process).
