In an article on the BBC's website regarding the latest Harry Potter film, which is the new Number 1 in the US box office, they confirm that Transformers has now superseded Armageddon as Michael Bay's most successful film (in terms of Gross Revenue).
ComingSoon.net report the gorss to stand at $320.2 million world wide, whilst BoxOfficeMojo lpace the figure nearer $223 million.

A few Transformers websites had reported this over the weekend, but we'd forgotten to put up the information. If you're not already seen this, here's a breakdown of what is in the Japanese Transformers Song Universe CD pack.
Cover has Convoy (Optimus Prime in Transformers G1), Convoy (Optimus
Primal in Beast Wars, called both Convoy and Beast Convoy at differing
times in Japan), Rodimus Convoy (Transformers 2010, Rodimus Prime in
Transformers G1), Star Saber (Transformers Victory), Convoy (Micron
Legend, Optimus Prime in Transformers Armada), and Convoy (Transformers
Kiss Players, Optimus Prime in Transformers Alternators)
The song has nearly every Japanese Opening, Ending, and Insert song
(Beast Wars Returns used the Beast Machines theme, so it appears to be
left out). Not sure if anything else is missing but it appears to be
quite awesome. Transformers songs that were done by Kageyama Hironobu
(DBZ fans, you know him) and Wada Kouji (all of us Digimon fans know
him). English translated tracklist courtesy of Fenrir and DigistarDBZ
(who got it done quite quickly after I asked them to)

YNetNews.com have uploaded a video interview with Tyrese Gibson and Josh Duhamel, which can be seen
here. Tyrese received a huge reaction at the Botcon showing of the
Transformers Movie (by fans and workers at the cinema) and an even bigger reception at the earlier UK showing.

The website for the Sci-Fi Channel in the UK as been updated with an
interview with Simon Furman following the evolution of Transformers over it's history to the new comic being produced by Titan Books.
"
Well, the new comics are set very much in the movie
continuity. The first six issues, it's pretty much a character per
story that we focus on. And also we try and highlight some of the ones
who weren't necessarily given a lot to do in the movie, so we kind of
cover characters like Ratchet and Ironhide, and Devastator, but there's
also this larger story that unfolds over the whole six issues".
Along side the interview with Mr Furman, there is an additonal short interview with Chief Editor of Titan's Transformers comic, Steve White.
"
Aside from Simon (obviously) and Geoff Senior, Andy Wildman
and Nick Roche will be doing art for the following two issues. I'd like
to see if I can get some of the other 'classic' artists interested but
I don't want this to be a complete nostalgia-fest. We have to bear in
mind we'll be picking up a whole new generation of fans who only know
it from the film, so we can't afford to alienate them, especially as
there'll probably be a lot more of them!".

Thanks to Warner Brothers Music we're able to bring you the

After several years of work
GoldOptimusPrime.com has finally received an update, other than it's preview picture. The website is dedicated to the gold Masterpiece Convoy figure, and features the first ever images of it in vehicle mode.
We've been waiting a long time to see images of this toy transformed, as we have passed up several opportunities to own the figure.

The toy was first announced and shown at the Hasbro Future Panel at BotCon 2007, but now TFClub have the first online
images of the Transformers Movie Nightwatch Optimus Prime redeco pakaging.
The toy looks grey and blue, but looked darker when shown at BotCon.

Last week Paramount Pictures UK told us that T4 would be holding a special on the Transformers Movie, although no specific details or timeslot was known to them. Now BigBot, from TheTransformers.net, has found the following
details.

Rick Edwards chats to Transformers director Michael Bay and his hot young cast Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox about their thrilling robot adventure based on the iconic action figures.
The programme also goes on set to look at the movie in the making and there's all the action from the World Premiere in LA.
