We have received the following press release from Paramount Pictures UK's press company, Way to Blue.
TRANSFORMERS: ADVANCE PREVIEW SCREENINGS START MIDNIGHT FRIDAY - ACROSS THE COUNTRY!
Advance preview screenings have been announced for the upcoming Paramount summer blockbuster TRANSFORMERS. The screenings will kick-off on midnight this Friday (20th) at a selection of cinemas up and down the country! If you book now you can be one of the first in the country to see the film.
Further advance screenings will follow on Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd
and Thursday the 26th. The film will then open fully nationwide on 27th
July 2007.
TRANSFORMERS (12a) is the live action film of the world famous toy
franchise from director Michael Bay and executive producer Stephen
Spielberg. Dueling alien races of the AUTOBOTS and the DECEPTICONS have
brought their battle to Earth and the future of humankind is hanging in
the balance. It's their war, but it's our world! The cast includes Shia
LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Jon Voight, John Turturro and Tyrese
Gibson.

The film has Early Showings on the 21st / 22nd July at Vue Cinemas, a week before it's official release. Another press showing is due a few days before the official release, so expect various magazine articles covering the Transformers Movie around that time.

Don't forget there are still a few days left to enter our
Ultimate Transformers Movie Preview competition, with prizes worth over £50. We still haven't received the Transformers The Music CDs from Warner Brothers Music, so it doesn't look like they will be added into the winners pack / runners-up packages at first. It's been a while since we've reported any Transformers Trademark updates, and that is because nothing of any real significance has happened for a few months. The latest news coming in is that Hasbro's mark for
Meister, filed with the USPTO back in 22nd June 2004 was approved on the 17th July 2007.

Transformers Comic Signing!!!
To celebrate the launch of Transformers comic, a special Transformers Comic signing is taking place on Saturday 1st September at the London Film and Comic Convention.
All I can tell you at this stage is attending the signing so far will be
writer Simon Furman, artist Geoff Senior and editor Steve White. The
Transformers Camaro (Bumblebee) as seen in the new movie will be on display as well.

BBC Radio 1 is featuring Tranformers as its movie of the week this week and as a result is giving away free tickets to screenings on thursday at selected cinemas. To claim you neeed to print out a voucher from the
Radio 1 website.
The cinemas taking part are:
