One of a few experts, and hard-core collectors, of these items is Ras (who posts on various Transformers message boards). He recently posted various images of his collection, which you can see on our

digital wizards at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
The TRANSFORMERS Special Edition two-disc sets

casting process, the training, consultants and real-world weapons
provided by the military to lend authenticity to the film, the
evolution of the robots from Hasbro's iconic toy line to big-screen
stars, the unique vehicles created for the movie, a discussion with
ILM's legendary digital artists and much more.
The discs go even further behind-the-scenes
with early sketch concepts of the robots and an in-depth look at the
making of the SKORPONOK attack from writing and conceptualization
through the creation of the stunning visual effects.

material presented in high definition, the HD DVD presentation provides

We've been a tad lazy when it comes to the information on our
Transformers toy galleries, as we wiped the database when we upgraded the website a few months ago. I've now started work on the toy information contained within the galleries with the first of a much needed update on Transformers character profiles.
You can now find 145 full toy profiles (including mottos and functions) of the Generation One Autobot toys. It's by no way all of them, but is a nice batch.

Seibertron.com have more information on the Chinese exclusive Transformers Movie Swerve toy.
This figure will NOT be given away if you buy a Chevrolet Aveo. In fact, buying the car isn't even necessary to get the exclusive. Its a China only Promo for the Chevrolet Lova (Aveo in the U.S.). The idea was you go to the movie, after you go to a Chevrolet dealer with the movie ticket(s) and test drive the Lova. You get the robot for test driving the car.

eBay seller Paranooid has placed a listing for a previous un-announced red Transformers Movie Camero 2008 Bumblebee that he is calling Cliffjumper. The appears to be a final release toy, as it has what appears to be the final paint-apps, and so official word will probably not be too far away. You can view the auction
here.
