The first image of Transformers Movie Stealth Bumblebee was posted on the Hong Kong Talk Transformers message board this morning. The figure is a repainted, remolded 2008 Camero but with a partially black colour scheme and "battle mask" head.

Thanks to members of ACToys.net we have the first images from inside of the Transformers Visual Works book that has been released in Japan. You can view the images in our December Mirror of ACToys.net or over at ACToys.net, once their server comes back up, here.
I thought I'd update those of you who are after the Visual Works Exclusive Green Ratchet and do not want to pay out $150 for one that seller Hydra AKA Black Gears is offering the figure for $99.99. Here's what Hydra had to say
Emergency Green Ratchet:
I am offering the toy at $99.99 each, $50 less than online retailers, and a very competitive price considering the cost to obtain the item. Shipping to USA, Europe and Asia via EMS
will be $18 for the first and $7 more for each additional figure
ordered. This the cost of one would be $99.99 plus $18, two would be $199.98
plus $25, so on. At this point I have enough order forms available to fill numerous orders so I am not imposing a per-customer-limit.
However, I only plan to accept pre-orders through the end of this month, so it would be in everyone's best interest to put your order in ahead
of time. I absolutely guarantee support for all orders placed, although if my stock of the item sells out I may have to discontinue orders
earlier than planned. The item will be shipped out promptly when it is released in April. All those who preorder from me will also receive a
Japanese KitKat bar, although I don't expect that to be the deciding
factor
in anyone's order.

Slashfilm report here, that Scotland's own Ray Park (Darth Maul (Star Wars), The Toad (X-Men), Iron Fist (Iron Fist)) has been cast as Snake Eyes in the 2009 live action G.I-Joe movie. Ray Park joins Sienna Miller (The Baroness) as the first two confirmed cast members for the Paramount Pictures film. You can read up on Ray's martial arts background on his own website.

Check out these awesome images of Wave 2 Real Gear for 2008. Figures
include FARSIGHT T-20 (binoculars), MIDNIGHTER XR-4 (watch) and
TWITCHER F451 (game controller). Look for these characters in
February-March of 2008.
FARSIGHT T-20
FARSIGHT
T-20 is a scientist and analyst who is used to examining both sides of
any problem with which he is presented. His keen intelligence and
highly logical mind can break down any issue to its most important few
points and reach a conclusion within a few moments. He joined the
AUTOBOTS not because of an ethical compulsion, but because his analysis
put them squarely in the right. Many DECEPTICON strategists have tried
to out think FARSIGHT T-20, but all have failed.

In a post over on Don Murphy's message board, Robert Orci has posted an apology regarding how the writers strike may affect the second Transformers Movie;
"How are you?
As you know, all screenwriters are engaged in a labor dispute with the major studios and media conglomerates that subsidize much, but not all of the media content that we consume. It may go on for a very long time. All the other writers I've talked to on every level are ready to hold out FOREVER, all the while figuring out ways to make a living out of the internet without studios.
So now the hard part for me and Alex and Ehren and all fans of Transformers is that the movie may suffer (unless of course you hate the first one so much that you feel our inattention is a bonus). It may be pushed back or a host of other thing may happen to it. For that we apologize truly.
will keep you posted..."

Simon Furman has posted a new blog entry regarding Issue 8 of the UK exclusive comic which will be officially released in Feb 2008
"Definitely on the better late than never scale, here’s my post-script discourse on Transformers (UK) #8 (or at least the original strip bit of it). Another ’squeezed into a bit of dead space in the movie’ story, this one concerns the fate of Scorponok, last seen burrowing underground in an almightly hurry after the aerial barrage in Qatar. He’s been laying low since then, but when Ironhide and a Special Forces team (new characters, developed especially for the UK storyline) go looking they get a whole LOT more than they bargained for (and realise some things are better left buried). As with the previous Starscream story, this one gives a little more in the way of action/resolution to the movie itself, and provides Ironhide with a real workout (though not necessarily in the way you might think). Scorponok proves to be a much tougher character than his bio and onscreen appearance maybe suggests, and ties up something of loose end. Editor Steve White played his part (above and beyond the call of duty) with this one, taking my half-hearted suggestions for US military hardware and coming up with the real goodies (he’s something of an expert!). Art is by Staz Johnson, another name those of you TF fans with long memories will remember as having worked on the Marvel UK Transformers strip towards the end of its originated life, oh and the art cover is by Gary Erskine. What’s next? Something VERY different. Still new movie-based, but quite epic (taking us right up to issue #13) in its scale and reach. More on this when I do my Script (W)rap for issue #9 (soon, honest!)."
Simon Furman has posted a new blog entry regarding Issue 6 of the UK exclusive comic which will be officially released on Friday.
"Issue #6 (doesn’t time fly?) of Titan’s Transformers UK comic/magazine hits stores this week (December 6th to be precise). New/exclusive comic strip material comes in the shape of a 10pp Jazz story, set during the IDW prequel to the new Transformers movie (out this week on DVD, by the way), rounding off the first clutch of interconnected UK stories. Separated from his fellow Autobots Ratchet and Ironhide by Devastator’s foldspace warhead (in #2), Jazz finds himself alone on a planet rich in accumulated knowledge and universal secrets, literally immersed in data. Far from unhappy about his predicament, Jazz decides he simply doesn’t ever want to be found, a decision that may just cost him dearly. Story is by me, art is by the ever-wonderful Marcelo Matere (Transformers Spotlight: Soundwave and the upcoming Transformers Spotlight: Grimlock). The issue also features a Starscream profile, a free TF target game, interviews with the stars of the movie and a chance to win movie DVDs. For more information (and a taster of the Marcelo’s amazing interior art), check out Titan’s TF Myspace page here, and click on the link below for a look-see at the cover."
