Transformers Movie director Michael Bay recently responded to a request to bring back Jazz for Transformers 2. This is what he said.
No Jazz is dead. We have way more cool robots to come.
Bay
Jazz had previously been rumored to return in the sequel to the hit Transformers movie on various websites, after the voice actor who played the character had been linked to the film. It was always highly unlikely that the character of Jazz would have been bought back in the second live action Transformers film, as this would have been one less new character they could introduce.
You can find Michael Bay's official forum, Shoot for the Edit, here.
TFWorld2005 are running a story on the latest Knock-Off Generation One Transformers toy to be produced, an all clear Optimus Prime figure.
This toy comes complete with trailer and roller, along with featuring yellow eyes (which look a little odd) and clear plastic wheels. The figure is by the same company behind the clear, black and various other coloured G1 Mirage knock-offs.
This isn't the first time a Clear Generation One Optimus Prime toy has been made. The infamous Lunchtime Specials (Takara Staff items, Factory items, Testshots) including a clear Convoy toy (in some areas complete with trailer.
You can find lots of images of these clear Transformers on our Transformers Prototype page or by selecting Lunchtime Specials as a Subgroup on our Transformers Toy Gallery.
There have been tons of auctions for Transformers Animated figures on online auction sites over the last month and a bit, both carded and loose. The auctions have bought us new images of the toys, from various different angles. Now TFWorld2005 member PlanetJacker has shared some images of one of the Transformers Animated Starscream toys which he won.

Dark Ramjet of TFWorld2005.com has had a chance to sit down with Transformers Voice Acting veteran David Kaye. David voice's Optimus Prime in Transformers Animated, as well as a few other characters, but rose to fame (in the Transformers franchise) as Beast Wars Megatron.
David is now the most credited Voice Actor in the Transformers franchise (on the sheer number of series he has worked on), with Transformers Animated being his sixth Transformers series. Only Robots in Disguise and the original Transformers series are missing his talents.
eBay seller eToysHunter has posted the first auction for the Japanese version of Transformers Movie Incinerator. The toy, as we previously reported, is recoloured and features the number 0025 on the tail. You can view the auction for the black version here and compare it to the normal one here.

I want to thank Nelson for running such a good site! For the millions
of viewers that logged on this year I want to thank you for the
support. Transformers 2 will be coming soon. The new robots are really
really unique and there are a lot of them this time. I WANT EVERYONE TO
HAVE A GREAT HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
Your friend, Michael
That's the latest post by Michael Bay at both his blog and website. There's nothing really unexpected, more Transformers in Transformers 2 was obvious (they've already got the CGI models for the Autobots from the first film) and a bigger budget is expected.
Rumours have already started flying regarding the film, we really like the sound of one of them (which seems quiet plausible), but with a long time to go it will be interesting to see what fake information, and accurate information, is released.
To celebrate the New Year, Transformers At The Moon is bringing you the first and only full image gallery of a Chrome Silver Collectors Edition Convoy toy.
The gallery includes over 140 images of the toy as well as information on it's origin (or lack of origin) and a short review.
The toy is completely covered in Chrome Silver paint, as seen on the Lucky Draw Transformers and Takara-Tomy staff exclusives. We are not 100% sure on the origin of this toy, however we feel it is probably a fake ... though it may yet prove to be a Takara staff exclusive item.
eBay seller tfctoy has posted an auction for a bubble packed Battle Damage Arcee toy from the Transformers Movie toy range. This is the first time the toy has been seen in this type of packaging, previous it was only available as part of the Sam's Club exclusive 3-pack with Battle Damaged Optimus Prime and Starscream.
The Transformers Collectors Club website has been updated with information and the cover of issue 19 of the Collectors Club magazine. The cover of the magazine shows the first images of Transformers Universe Onslaught, no news on whether this is the first of the Combiners planned for Transformers Universe (Classics).

Information posted on The Allspark points out ".. an unnamed red Autobot recolor of
TFTM Dropkick. no huge Autobot logo in vehicle mode, just red all over
with a silver grille, with an Autobot logo and some text on the
driver's side door [and likely the passenger side's door as well]."
