Simon Furman has updated his blog with a post regarding the upcoming IDW Transformers Spotlight on Arcee. Here's a quote
"...And I figured Iād attempt to apply a rationale to the whole issue! So, I expect Arcee to be divisive. Though I hope also, regardless of the whole he-she-it thing going on, people will enjoy it for the rattling good actioner I believe it to be. And boy, does a lot happen this issue. Guest-stars aboundā¦ Ultra Magnus, Fortress Maximus (taking his full IDW bow), Banzaitron, the Combaticons (also debutees), Jetfire, the Technobots and more! And it all revolves around a certain character whose name has been uttered more and more frequently in various Spotlights (and even the āongoingā by nowā¦ I think), and will play a big part in whatās to come this year. So, while self-contained, this is without hyperbole a KEY issue. And then thereās the breathtaking art of Alex Milne. I can honestly say Iāve never seen Alex so up for a job, and the results will simply knock your socks off (or āshatter your trousersā, whichever is applicable)."

In a brief interview with the UKs own Empire Magazine Shia LaBeouf spoke briefly on Transformers 2.
"I know of a few things I have to work on for the next one, Iāve seen pre-vizes of the action scenes and I just saw Michael yesterday. Itās going to be bad-ass. Weāre not making another one unless it is, and Mike is definitely not resting on his laurels ā heās doing insane shit again. And the pre-vizes that Iāve seenā¦ itās just massive. If the first one was any indicator of how massive massive can be, this is going to blow that out of the water. Itās insane. Mikeās mind was just kind of made for this ā itās amazing. Thereās going to be a lot more characterisation with the robots, which Iām excited about. I was a fan of Transformers before the movie came out. And thereās going to be a lot of actionā¦That goes unsaid, I guessā.
Shia followed up this comment with "Thereās gonna be new robots on both sides. I can say that the war isnāt overā¦ Itās hard to do interviews when youāre not allowed to talk about the movies. Itās like I give two or three things away and then I get reprimanded for it. Itās never fun to get reprimanded by these people"
You will now find a short gallery of the Super Fest 44 exclusive AD-01 Classics Galvatron model kit in our Transformers toy image gallery area.
