In an interview at IGN Robert Orci confirmed that they are looking to fit Soundwave in Transformers 2.
Q: Is there one particular Transformer, good or bad, that you absolutely
had to get into the sequel?
ORCI: Yes.
Q: You're not gonna tell us.
ORCI: I'll tell you. We had to get Soundwave in there.
Q: Nice. Where Soundwave goes, will Ravage follow?
ORCI: Perhaps! Who's Ravage? ... I'm kidding! You know, we had Ravage in
an early draft of the first movie and Soundwave, and we couldn't do it right and
I think this time hopefully we'll have the ability to do it.
Of cause there is no word on an alt-mode for Soundwave as yet.

The new poll on TransformersAnimated.com simply asks you to rate the cartoon series out of 5 stars. With the show airing (or completed) around the world, this is a great time to judge its the global rating.

Spoiler warning
The episode begins with Starscream's brigade attacking both the Autobots and the Decepticons, who team up to defeated them. The Decepticons then defeat the Autobots when Ratchet arrives in the Autobot ship. Activating some secret controls, the ship transforms into Omega Supreme. Megatron's decides that he needs to test the Spacebridge and throws a restrained Optimus Prime towards the portal. Prowl manages to free Primes hands just in time so that the Autobot leader can save himself. Realising that he needs more power to use to Spacebridge, Megatron decides to hook up Starscreams head and use that as a battery. The power overloads the SpaceBridge and begings to suck everything into it, starting with Megatron. Omega Supreme sacrifices himself to destroy the SpaceBridge and save everyone else. As the episode nears its end, the Autobots are seen looking towards the horizon and talking to an injured Sari. Sari looks down at her injury only to notice that instead of bleeding, she sees Cybertronian mechanics inside of her. Finally, the episode ends with Megatron drifting in space arguing with Starscreams head.
