Transformers Movie News

In an interview at IGN Robert Orci confirmed that they are looking to fit Soundwave in Transformers 2.

Q: Is there one particular Transformer, good or bad, that you absolutely had to get into the sequel?

ORCI: Yes.

Q: You're not gonna tell us.

ORCI: I'll tell you. We had to get Soundwave in there.

Q: Nice. Where Soundwave goes, will Ravage follow?

ORCI: Perhaps! Who's Ravage? ... I'm kidding! You know, we had Ravage in an early draft of the first movie and Soundwave, and we couldn't do it right and I think this time hopefully we'll have the ability to do it.

Of cause there is no word on an alt-mode for Soundwave as yet.

Transformers CartoonsTV Loonland has broken the news on their website that they have sold their media licences for many of the classic cartoon series in their "Hasbro Classics Library", including the original Transformers and G.I. Joe series, to none other than Hasbro themselves for the sum of 7 million US Dollars. In 2000 TV loonland had bought Sunbow productions who together with Sony owned the media rights of the cartoon show for many of the territories outside of the United States. The article does state that TV Loonland will continue to work with Hasbro in regards to these propoties in the future.

As we deliver new immersive entertainment experiences to audiences worldwide, it was extremely important that we had the rights to fully control the usage of our intellectual properties. Entertainment is becoming increasingly important in helping us to strengthen and build our brands globally, and this will enable us to engage consumers in new and exciting ways".

Thanks to Seibertron for the news.

Transformers Animated

Below you will find a mirror of the screenshot he took as well as a cleaned up version of the summary. For those wanting to watch videos, he has posted two videos, without sound and with a large watermark, on YouTube, here and here.

Spoiler warning

The episode begins with Starscream's brigade attacking both the Autobots and the Decepticons, who team up to defeated them. The Decepticons then defeat the Autobots when Ratchet arrives in the Autobot ship. Activating some secret controls, the ship transforms into Omega Supreme. Megatron's decides that he needs to test the Spacebridge and throws a restrained Optimus Prime towards the portal. Prowl manages to free Primes hands just in time so that the Autobot leader can save himself. Realising that he needs more power to use to Spacebridge, Megatron decides to hook up Starscreams head and use that as a battery. The power overloads the SpaceBridge and begings to suck everything into it, starting with Megatron. Omega Supreme sacrifices himself to destroy the SpaceBridge and save everyone else. As the episode nears its end, the Autobots are seen looking towards the horizon and talking to an injured Sari. Sari looks down at her injury only to notice that instead of bleeding, she sees Cybertronian mechanics inside of her. Finally, the episode ends with Megatron drifting in space arguing with Starscreams head.
