MTV are reporting that the British actor Matthew Marsden has been cast in Transformers 2.
"Marsden has been cast in the role of “Graham,†a character who is part of the British Special Forces. Although the film’s plot is being kept under the tightest veils of secrecy, it is known that the flick will depict an even more worldly battle than the first “Transformers†film, and will shoot all over the globe. In the sequel, Graham teams with Duhamel and Tyrese’s military characters, joining their efforts as they do battle with the evil Decepticons.
The casting of Graham, and the presence of the British Special Forces, would seem to indicate that Bay might do some filming in the U.K. Cameras are scheduled to begin rolling on the fast-forming flick in a matter of weeks."
Matthew Marsden is best know for appearing in the UK soap Coronation Street but he recently appeared in the new Rambo film as well as Resident Evil: Extinction and Black Hawk DownJust a quick reminder to our UK visitors that Transformers Animated episode 24 S.U.V - Society Of Ultimate Villainy, will be broadcast this afternoon on Nick Toons. British tabloid newspaper The Sun have an article regarding 30 year Australian IT consultant Brad Jayakody who was recently stopped from boarding an aircraft at Terminal 5 at London's Heathrow Airport for wearing a Transformers Movie Optimus Prime t-shirt because a gun was shown. He was told he would be arrested if he changed back into the t-shirt. The Sun asked a Heathrow spokesman regarding the incident and was told "If a T-shirt had a rude word or a bomb on it for example, a passenger may be asked to remove it. .... We are investigating what happened to see if it came under this category."
Our Transformers Forum, powered by Proboards, is currently offline due to a fire at their facility. They are working on restoring the data to various servers, they had over 100 and we were on their first server, so it may take them a while to get the message board back working.
Hopefully the service will be restored over the next few days.
