It appears that Hasbro have started work on renewing the Starscream trademark 5 years after it's last update. Although the current status is not that of a renewal, most Trademark renewals run for 5 years, so the fact the USPTO have received paperwork for Starscream, and Demolisher, on the 4th August, appears that their trademarks should be renewed later this year.
Speaking of trademarks,Transformers At The Moon has been the leading resource website for
Transformer Trademark news since the
26th April 2005.
Since then, we have religously been following every possible
Transformers related trademark submitted to
the USPTO by either Hasbro Inc or Takara-Tomy within certain relevant categories.
There are 420 trademark applications contained within this area dating from 1983 until the present day.
Not all trademark applications made by Hasbro Inc are used, with even
less become registered marks. However, you will find them all here.
Sometime Hasbro apply for 'mark only' applications. These include
logos, faction symbols and other drawings. You will find those listed
under the term "MARK".

Not bad for a country going into recession.
Chud.com are reporting that Megatron will reappear in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen foilm with an alternate mode of a tank, replacing his alien jet fighter form from the first film.
There is no information on where this rumour started, so we're just listing this as a rumour at the moment. Director Michael Bay has stated that false information will be leaked during the production of the film. Is this part of the false information, or could it be that this is the true form of The Fallen, and that the previously "confirmed" Fallen character was in-fact the false truth?
