When issue 15 of the UK Transformers comic was released last week, Titan Magazines named a new "Website of the Month". This time it was none other than TransformersAnimated.com. Sadly our copy of the comic has not arrived, so we will be trying to track down an issue to bring you a full review, but in the mean time here is a scan courtesy of Hoist of Total Transformers

PerformanceCar.co.nz has been updated with an article on the Transformers Alternity Nissan GT-R including concept art.
Although this diagram may at first seem irrelevant, take a closer
look and you might just recognize a few bits and pieces from the R35
GT-R hidden amongst this new transformer toy, especially those unique,
angular doors and vented guards on the shoulder blades.
Toymaker Takara has announced the inclusion of the Nissan GT-R into
its Transformers Alternity lineup, making sure to point out that the
new product will be out in time for Christmas – we can see the fanboys
lining up already.... You know you've made a great car when it gets the
Transformer treatment!

ACToys have posted a gallery of yet another yet to be released Transformers figure, this time it's the Transformers Universe Silverstreak toy.
Silverstreak is, of cause, the new name given to the Bluestreak character, due to trademark issues, and is a recoloured version of Universe Prowl.

Yahoo recently ran a Top Sci-Fi Movies of all time poll, which like many an online poll run nowadays, came back with some surprising answers. The top three films were listed as follows:
- Iron Man
- Star Wars: A New Hope
- Transformers
Usually films such as 2001, Bladerunner, Aliens and even Terminator would be expected to be amongst the top spots.

Thanks go to Robert Hegarty for dropping us an email to let everyone know that UK high street giant Woolworths are finally stocking the Transformers Animated toys. Robert spotted the Deluxe Lockdown, Bumblebee and Cybertronian Optimus Prime all on sale for 9.99, with the Battle Begins set for 19.99. The figures are not yet listed on the Woolworths website, but means that more of the population should now be able to find the Animated toys in their high streets.

The BBFC have an interesting listing for the UK Transformers Animated Season 1 DVD which is due for release on the 20th October 2008. The listing shows that the DVD only contains four episodes and not the full 13 included on US release which is due out on the 19th August.
The listing is for "Volume 1,Series 1,Episode 4-7" with a running time of 91 minutes and 36 seconds with a PG rating. The episodes listed are:
Episode 4: Home Is Where The Spark Is
Episode 5: Total Meltdown
Episode 6: Blast From The Past
Episode 7: Thrill Of The Hunt
The DVD has been listed on Play.com for some time with a RRP of 9.99 and a listing price of 7.99. This price is less than the 3-part pilot, Transformers Animated: Transform and Roll Out (RRP 12.99, Play price of 8.99). The price on Play backs up the suggestion that the series will be released in multiple parts within the UK rather than an complete series boxset. This is not 100% confirm, as it could be that the BBFC are yet to rate the other discs, however as the US release is confirmed as a 2-disc box set of 13 episodes, it is unlikely that the 2nd disc would contain 9 episodes. We will attempt to clarify the release with Paramount UK.
