New images of TakaraTomy's Masterpiece Grimlock have surfaced on Zona Hobby.
The images show that Grimlock comes with a crown (based on the comic strip, sword and "mind transfer device" used in Grimlock's New Brain and previously only released with the Super Collection Figure toy.
Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock is due out in March 2009.

TakaraTomy have announced that they will be releasing Transformers Henkei Dirge and Thrust as online store exclusives from the same places that sold the Henkei Thundercracker and Skywarp figures. Dirge will be Toy Hobby
Market Exclusive, you can view the pre-order page
here and Thrust will be a Ganbo Store Exclusive, again you can view the pre-order page
here. Both toys will feature remoulded wings making them more Generation One authentic when compared against the Botcon exclusive figures.

We've just received our copy of the latest issue of Toy News magazine which contains the latest UK Retail Sales trends for week 39. In the Action Figures (volume) chart the Transformers Animated Deluxe range is listed as No.10 . The chart is once again dominated by Ben 10 figures.
These sales charts are different to the monthly figures we normally bring you.

An auction has appeared on ebay for the upcomign Transformers Universe Bruticus combiner figure. The auction shows more images of the toy, as well as images of the combined Bruticus figure.
Universe Bruticus is a recolour of the Transformers Super Link / Transformers Energon Bruticus Maximus toy.

Thanks to Break for letting us know Wave 3 of Transformers Universe are now in stock at Toys R Us UK/ Wave three includes Silverstreak, Sideswipe and Ironhide who are on the shelves along side Acidstorm and Galvatron. Break points out that he does not know if Bluestreak has the blue face or the corrected silver one.
Also look out for a special offer later this week on a on a certain UK Exclusive 2-pack.

An auction has appeared on ebay for the upcoming Transformers Universe Cheetor toy.
The figure is a new sculpt of the popular Beast Wars character, featuring a much thinner Cheetah mode then the original Beast Wars version. Cheetors inclusion in the Transformers Universe range coincides with the 25th anniversary celbrations for the brand.

Hasbro Australia has tream up with Ozformers to to produce a Hasbro AU Q&A. A little like the US and Canada Hasbro / Transformers Fan Site Q&A, the article covers their local area. It's insteresting to see a regional Hasbro office take part in such an activity.

Thanks to Snakas and TFW2005 for supplying information and images from the latest issues of Dengeki Hobby Magazine (Blitz Hobby). Although there is nothing new in the magazine there are more images of some of the upcoming Japanese Transformers including the red Music Label Convoy and the Micky Mouse Convoy.
Transformers Henkei - An introduction of Hound with Ravage and Cheetas using photographs o the US version.
Transformers Alternity - Details and photographs of both the Red and Silver versions of Convoy. The latest issue of Figure King has a larger image, although Dengeki Hobby includes the red version.
Transformers Disney - The Mickey Mouse Convoy is shown along with a step by step showinng the toys transformation.
Transformers Music Label - The red/orange Exile version of Music Label Convoy is shown. The sales price is said to be 20,000 yen (including tax).
Transformers Encore - Hoist and Trailbreaker are shown. There are no details of any mold changes, and the images are said to be the original versions. Also the e-HOBBY re-releases of Sunstorm and Black Megatron are also shown.
Transformers Masterpieces - The concept art of Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock is also shown in the magazine.
