Thanks to board member Sunstreaker for pointing out a news article run by the UK tabloid newspaper The Sun which is entitled "Optimus Prime Minister Hailed". The article is regarding the current UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown and questions that were posted to him by listeners on Radio WM on how Labour could help them
through the current problems facing Britain. Here is q quote from the article "during the chat, host Phil Upton quizzed him on how sons, John and James,
had enjoyed the Christmas period. Giving a rare insight into how his family spent the festive season, the PM
joked how the leader of the Autobots could be the man to help him.
Speaking of his sons, he said: “Christmas was a big thing for them. The great
thing is they have a small piano they are playing. “Sport’s big for them as well. Transformers is a big thing too as you probably
now. “If I could meet Optimus Prime, he seems to be able to solve most of the
problems.”
No sooner had these remarked been made than by the British PM, than a spokesman for the Tory (Conservative) Party said he thought the PM was more like
Optimus Prime’s sworn enemies.“Gordon Brown's got much more in common with the Decepticons.” the spokesman said.
The article shows the impact that the first live action Transformers movie has had, and that how, two years on, it themes and characters have remained in peoples minds. This only bows well for upcoming sequal Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

We've updated out previously small (2 images) gallery of the currently unreleased BotCon Wreckers Alpha Trion toy with 44 more images.
The gallery now comprises of the only full image gallery of this toy on the web, as it features the hand painted sample made for 3H, and never put into full production.
The timing of the gallery is perfect, with the BotCon 2009 toys believed to be comprised of the remaining BotCon Wrecker team, of which Alpha Trion was their leader.
Alpha Trion is featured along side Beast Machines Snarl and an all white testshot of Beast Machines Snarl (of which Hasbro put the legs on backwards).

Big Bad Toy Store has two listing for Transforming watches, Auto Ceptor and Time Limit. Both toys are priced at $299 and bear more than a passing resemblance to the old Chrono Watches.
We've got several of the old non-offiical watches, which we call Time Warrior, so this is a pretty cool idea as far as we are concerned - although a very pricy one.
The listings do not state they are Transformers, and we believe that they will not be from the Transformers line.

Pete Sinclair, from the Fun Publications team behind BotCon, has dropped another hint that the BotCon set for 2009 will be the Wreckers.
Far be it from me to wreck your all's ideas. I just know that this year's set is going to rule!
Obviously this is more likey to be the OTFCC/BotCon Wreckers group, rather than the original UK Transformers Comic Wreckers team, with Impactor, Wreck and Rule etc.

that tune in to the broadcast.
Confirmed for this year’s roster are high-profile titles like
Paramount’s "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Star Trek" and
"G.I. Joe"; Sony’s "Angels and Demons"; DreamWorks Animation’s
"Monsters vs. Aliens"; and Universal’s "Land of the Lost" and its
fourth installment in "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. Disney is
also planning to use the game to raise the profile for Pixar’s next

PrintRoomDan has send us the following information regarding a sale on at Tesco's where Leader Class Transformers Animated figures are 1/2 price.
I was in a Tesco the other day in Ashford, Kent and I saw a Leader Class Bulkhead for Ł19.99..... Thats Ł20 cheaper than almost everywhere else!
And this thing is huge as well, easily 16 inches high!
And I'm sure that the Leader Class Prime was same price! Damn if I wasn't still cleaned out from Christmas I would grab a couple of them.
