Big Bad Toy Store has two listing for Transforming watches, Auto Ceptor and Time Limit. Both toys are priced at $299 and bear more than a passing resemblance to the old Chrono Watches.
We've got several of the old non-offiical watches, which we call Time Warrior, so this is a pretty cool idea as far as we are concerned - although a very pricy one.
The listings do not state they are Transformers, and we believe that they will not be from the Transformers line.
They were the first combining set of Transformers which we owned, and are some of the most used Generation One modes - especially out of the combiner sets, and now The Combaticons have been confirmed as Transformers Encore set 16 by Big Bad Toy Store.
The set is due out on the 16th June 2009.
Pete Sinclair, from the Fun Publications team behind BotCon, has dropped another hint that the BotCon set for 2009 will be the Wreckers.
Far be it from me to wreck your all's ideas. I just know that this year's set is going to rule!
Obviously this is more likey to be the OTFCC/BotCon Wreckers group, rather than the original UK Transformers Comic Wreckers team, with Impactor, Wreck and Rule etc.
Variety has an article confirming the Transformers Teaser Trailer will air at the Superbowl on 1st February.
Nearly every studio will push pics during the big game, airing on NBC
Feb. 1, with the movie lineup naturally made up of summer tentpoles
whose studios hope to appeal to the nearly 100 U.S. million viewers
that tune in to the broadcast.
Confirmed for this year’s roster are high-profile titles like
Paramount’s "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Star Trek" and
"G.I. Joe"; Sony’s "Angels and Demons"; DreamWorks Animation’s
"Monsters vs. Aliens"; and Universal’s "Land of the Lost" and its
fourth installment in "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. Disney is
also planning to use the game to raise the profile for Pixar’s next
toon, "Up," while a "Wolverine" spot is likely from Fox.
An ebay auction by movieposterbargins has revealed the first look at the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen teaser poster. The poster contains the release date of the 26th June 2009 as well as an image of what appears to be a face resembling the Decepticon symbol. You can view the image here.
