Michael Bay has recently been interviewed by MTV regarding Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.  You can read the article as well as watch a video by visiting the MTV website.  Within the interview Mr Bay talks about his loathing of Arcee as well as "big-ing" up The Fallen, Bumblebee and the Twins Skids and Mudflap who he describes as "young and dumb".

If you've not recently visited the Hasbro Trademarks area of this website you may have missed out on the news that several of the "alternative titles" (which was exclusively reported here first) for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen that Hasbro applied for have now been abandoned with the USPTO. The marks were:­

1. ­RETURN OF THE DECEPTICONS
   
2. REVENGE OF THE DECEPTICONS
3. REVENGE OF UNICRON
4. MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP

Michael Bay has posted a new thread over on his message board regarding the "60 days" they have left in order to finish work on Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.  In the post Michael makes mention to the reaction of Steven Spielberg after they both sat down to watch his (Mr Bay that is) cut of Revenge of the Fallen as well as announcing that the trailer for the film will come out attached to the Wolverine: Origins movie. 

"Steven Spielberg sat next to me in a big 100 person theater at Sony today. There were 98 empty seats. The lights came up after we just watched my cut of Revenge of the Fallen. He turned to me and said
"It's awesome". He felt this movie was better then the first - and probably my best, who knows - at this point in a movie you start to lose your objectivity. I just hope the fans like it. I'm going to start putting it in front of audiences in a few weeks - no you are not invited, yet.

We have 60 days left. Let me tell you it will be a race to finish. It's 12 at night and we are still working here in the edit room. Everyone at ILM and DD are killing themselves right now, they are doing a stellar job on the effects. We also just finished our trailer which is coming out with Wolverine. Talk to you soon.

Several websites have recently been reporting "news" from a twitter account claiming to be Michael Bay.  Well the man himself has spoken on his own message board to shoot down the twitter account by simply posting "Twitter. Never. What a waste of time.".

So thre you have it, ignore any news you've read on other sites regarding this twitter account.  Its fake.

IDW's Chris Ryall has updated his blog with an image and a bit of information for the upcoming Transformers Spotlight Metroplex comic.

The preview image contain one frame which spans two pages.

Several members of TFW2005's UK fan contingent have reported receiving their Transformers Animated Shockwave's from Play.com this morning.

Simon Furman posted a new blog entry yesterday regarding his 2009 signing / convention schedule.  Visit his blog for the full entry or read the quote below for a rough idea.

The Cybergundam Blog has been updatd with a new image of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen transforming "mint holder".  The new image shows the item in red, which suits the Autobot symbol much better.  The mint holder will be available from Japanese cinemas.

Two images have been posted on the free-to-use Chinese auction site Taobao of what appears to be an unannounced Botcon 2009 exclusive recolour of Transformers Galaxy Force LigerJack AKA Transformers Cybertron Leo Breaker.  The toy has been recoloured in Generation One Razorclaws colour scheme and can be been seen below.
