After yesterday morning's problems we've managed to get the majority of our websites back up and running Transformers Animated, Lucky Draw Transformers and AFA Transformers are all back online, with Transformers Animated just missing episode summaries for the last 2 months (all the galleries are back).
Transformers At The Moon is now back working, missing two galleries, 2 months of news and most noticibly having problems with the stylesheet for the message board.
We will be looking at trying to resolve the remaining issues later today.

Due to a network glitch our live webserver expired last night rather than being renewed for 3 months whilst we worked on the new server. As we hadn't been planning on moving the site over just yet, and as the old webhosts are hard to contact (they are only open 5 days a week anyway), we have had to revert back to a backup database which was taken on 29th March 2009.
As you can guess, and see, this means that 2 months worth of news stories, Transformers Animated episode reviews and latest Transformers toy galleries have been lost. Whilst we can recreate the image galleries and episode guides the news stories are lost to time ... and the WayBackEngine.
We had already mirated our email over to the new server, as well as a few other domains, but our larger domains were left on the old site. Here's a basic summary of what has been lost:
Transformers At The Moon - 2 months of news stories, 2 months of message board posts, message board configurations, two toy galleries (Gold Big Convoy and Silver Big Convoy) along with various feeds and robots.
Transformers Animated - 2 months of episode galleries / reviews, new character listings, 2 months of news stories
Lucky Draw Transformers - 2 months of news stories
AFA Transformers - any ebay auction information from the last 2 months
The Visionaries.net - everything
Steven Mapes.com - everything
Project Rock Education - not effected
Hertfordsire School of Rock - not effected
We are slowly trying to bring the sites back up, starting with Transformers Animated.com, and will look to re-populate the missing data as best we can. The message board will remain unavailable for the interim period, as we need to investigate the full damage.
This has happend at the worst time for us, due to work commitments, so please bear with us whilst we rebuild the site. For those asking why it wasn't backed up more regularly. It was, only that backup server was part of the same hosting package which has expired as the payment was not processed fully due to a network glitch.

For those wondering what is happening with the UK towards illegal toys you may be interested to hear that ToyNewsMagazine are reporting that "In one of Newham Trading Standards' biggest-ever hauls, officers
confiscated about 2000 toys. They include unsafe flashing babies'
dummies, children's neckties which light up, toy dogs, rabbits and
airplanes, puffer balls and sabre lights.
The illegal toys,
which do not have safety warnings, are shoddily made and fall apart.
Some reveal sharp metal spikes and nails and others have cords and
balls which could easily choke a young child to death. Officers swooped
on a house in the borough which was being used as a storehouse. The
address, in the Straford area, has not been revealed for legal reasons
and the toys are being independently tested."

Titan Publications have sent out the following press release regarding the 25 years of Transformers
25 years of Transformers comic!
Simon Furman, one of the best known Transformers comic writers, tells Totalscifionline.com why Transformers has remained so popular over the past 25 years
From the classic 80s versions of the characters to Beast Wars to the movie universe and beyond, Transformers is always keeping pace with each successive generation of kids, and many of those kids stay engrossed and excited by Transformers all the way into adulthood. Why? Because of the amount of detailed and loving background work and story content that goes into each reinvention, both from Hasbro and the creators involved in comics, animation and movies. There's a real three-dimensional nature to both the characters and the world(s) they inhabit.
Back when we doing the UK Transformers comic in the 80s, my approach was never to write down to kids or pull punches with the nature and reach of the stories we were telling. Our audience responded very positively to that, and it's another part of why, I think, those young fans kept reading, watching and enjoying Transformers as they grew up. I still try bring those 'adult' sensibilities to my Transformers work today, because the movies have brought another new generation of kids into the fold and my aim is to keep them reading!"

Heerostoymaker (aka TinTinHappy and various other names) has placed an auction on ebay for his latest clear/chrome figure. This time its a clear Transformers Henkei Convoy but with some chrome gold parts. The figure is not a lucky draw figure nor will it ever been officially released. This origianl toy was made in the TakaraTomy factories and was then later chromed over. It is not an official Transformers item and can be put into the same category as our recently posted all gold chrome Big Convoy and Silver chrome Big Convoy with blue parts.
If you are intested in bidding on the auction or would like to see the images, you can find them here.
