Big news for fellow collectors of the "Lucky Draw Transformers" as the December issue of TV Magazine is now out in Japan and it is normally this end of year issue that features the mass prize competition for the gold chrome figures from various toy lines. Well mark this year down as TV Magazine do not appear to do holding such a draw this time. Yes the issue is out and there is no sign of the photo-shopped gold toys on the background of the cover that normally happens. So does this mean that we have seen the end of these highly limited and prized toys? Perhaps. Its possible that they have delayed the draw until the January issue that is out next month. We'll have to all wait and see on that, though it could be that the competition has been dropped for various reasons from fakes being made, to some draws being rigged so that certain figures are not actually draw at random, to the recession meaning that TV Magazine and/or the toy manufactures have decided that it is just too expensive to produce figures this year.
We will have more on this story as it unfolds, and as we say it could be that they have simple pushed the draw back to the Jan 2010 issue, as they seem to be releasing the issues earlier this year.
HK-TF.com member tf-op has posted an image of a new upcoming toy that is best described as a Legends-esq Rumble figure. The toy's origin is unknown, and the one image does not show any copyright markings meaning that the figure could just as easily be a non-official release as an official figure. Either way, you can view the image below.

Transformers Robotmasters was a pretty short lived series in Japan, featuring only a few toys and even less cartoon and comic episodes, yet it made quite a big impact when first released. The toys featured mainly new molds, with a few recoloured toys fom Transfomers Generation Two and Transformers Beast Wars, and was the Japanese take on the Transformers Universe theme, where characters from different Transformers lines were bought together.
The line featured some of the best Transformers toy molds and some of the most popular characters, and also showed how the original Transformers Generation One toy molds could be updated with more articulation, but could still be extremley close to the originals.
To help celebrate this short lived Japanese exclusive line, we have uploaded 21 new Transformers Robot Masters toy galleriesas well as updated 3 existing galleries with new images.
This takes us to an unrivaled 2,178 Transformers Galleries
The Arker has posted a pair of in package images of the upcoming Hasbro release of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Legends Devastator.
The figures is the US releae of the Japanese EZ Collection Devastator toy, which is by far the best version of the Revenge of the Fallen combined that has so far been made. The figure includes all seven Constructicons which can transform into their individual robot, vehicle and combined form.
The figures packaging is a smaller version of the large Devastator toy, which is a nice touch.
The latest issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine has been released a day early as the 1st November falls on a Sunday. Most of the contents are the same as the last few months, Bazooka Optimus Prime, EZ Collection, Disney Label Donald Duck and the Cassette Volume 3 pack. What interested is the cassette volume 3 pack is listd as being delayed due to problems with the metal mold that needed to be replaced.
Device Label Broadcast (Blaster) has now been renamed as Broadblast! No reason is given for the name change and but it appears that the release of the toy has now slipped again to 2010. Originally the figure was suppose to have been released in September 2009.
Credit to Snakas for the news.
KOToys.com have posted two images of toys that they claim are "in development".
