Find out more on the story from the synopsis below and check out the sneak peeks attached!
Bring me the Head of Optimus Prime!
Deep in the heart of Montana, in a wild forest region, a private militia force has executed a daring plan – the capture and imprisonment of Optimus Prime. They are led by Tyler ‘Trophy’ White, a dangerous hunter with a passion for killing, stuffing and mounting rare animals and now obsessed with adding a Cybertronian skull to his macabre collection. Under his orders a small commando group launched an attack upon the Malmstrom Air Force Base, near Montana Falls, in order to acquire an NNEMP (non-nuclear electromagnetic bomb). The attack was made to look like the work of the Decepticons and enough damage was caused to attract the attention of the Autobots and roll his plan into action!

I have uploaded some new Japanese hobby magazine galleries this morning. You can find galleries of both the Feb and March 2010 issues of Dengeki Hobby as well as the March issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine. All some some Transformers figures shown within them. The March issue of Hyber Hobby actually includes their "Top 10 Toys for 2009" lists, of which Transformers has three figures appear in the list for top robot toys. RA01 Optimus Prime at number 5, RA-24 Buster Optimus Prime at number 8 and Disney Label Mickey Mouse at number 10.
Thanks to the Indonesian based Transformers fan site TF-Indonesian.net for letting us know that Paramount Pictures are one of the partners support the planned development of Robotland a robot theme park. Why is this Transformers news, well specifically because Paramount are only mentioned due to Transformers. A Transformers Hall is mentioned under as one of the Robot Challenger Displays. "Robot Character Hall: Exhibitions and products relating to robot characters from movies and cartoons. >> Astroball Hall, Transformers Hall, Star Wars Robot Hall etc."
You can find some artist impressions of the planned designs here but it certainly looks like a very interesting concept.
Just to give you a heads up on why the news page hasn't been updated over the last few days, Dave contracted the Norovirus on Wednesday evening, with Steve catching on Friday afternoon.
Due to the contagious nature of the virus we've basically done nothing since catching the virus.
Good news is the worst seems to be past, 60 hours, though Steve won't in in the al clear until Tuesday, so we hope to get back to the regular updates during the week.
As you may or may not be aware Mangohero recently lost his website due to a webhost closing their service.
Mangohero (as well as being a longtime member of the messageboard), is one of the oldest and most respected best known UK traders. Thankfully he was able to salvage a older version which had been mirrored elsewhere (without their knowledge) and I am very happy to announce that he has reopened with a new URL:
http://www.mangohero.f-t-l.net/
So if you have the old site bookmarked please update to the new URL.
And if you've never heard of them, have a quick look through their infamous unknown parts list and see if you recognise anything:
Today is the first day of the new Chinese year, so we'd like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous year. This year is the year of the tiger and not just any tiger but the metal tiger, hence the headline of this news story, and so to commemorate here are some handy links to our Tigatron related image galleries.
The US Toy Fair is on at the moment with the same figures on display that were shown at both the British and Nurnberg Toy Fairs, the main difference is that the US one normally allows photographs as well as being easier for non-toy trade people to get in.

As you have no doubt noticed the number of updates to this website other than news has slowed right down over the last 6 months. This has been primarily due to work commitments but has also been affected by some other web projects of ours that needed initial development work. Its not al bad new though, as work has also slowly begun on the re-developing this website from the ground up. This will be a slow processes and will result in an entirely new code base include re-vamped back-end database and scripts.
We were not, and still are not, planning to pause updating Transformers At The Moon during the redevelopment so you will find some new galleries and content being added just as soon as our "day jobs" calm down a little. We thank you for baring with us during this time, but we can assure that this this site is in no ways winding down, more the opposite.

EXPAND THE ENTERTAINMENT OF THE ICONIC PROPERTY
New BATTLE OPS BUMBLEBEE Action Figure and POWER CORE COMBINER Expression
Lead New Introductions For The Innovative And Popular Toy Line
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (February 12, 2010) — On the heels of launching 2009’s
largest grossing movie and in anticipation of the next installment in
2011, the TRANSFORMERS brand from Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS) ramps up the
play in 2010 with new offerings that build on the energy and excitement
from the brand’s history and blockbuster film franchise. Featuring
over-the-top action figures, unique role-play items and innovative
twists on the TRANSFORMERS brand signature play pattern, the 2010
lineup offers dozens of toys, two exciting promotions and an expansive
worldwide licensing program across all major categories to satisfy and
excite the brand’s ever-expanding fan base.
This spring the AUTOBOTS, the heroic protectors of Earth, need help
from their human allies in the N.E.S.T. GLOBAL ALLIANCE as the planet
continues to face threats from the evil DECEPTICONS. Hasbro is inviting
kids and fans to join the alliance through a special promotion that is
currently underway. By collecting three stickers included in specially
marked TRANSFORMERS products, kids and fans can join the N.E.S.T.
GLOBAL ALLIANCE and mail away for a special edition RAVAGE figure not
available anywhere else. The promotion requires a payment of $4.95 for
shipping and handling charges to receive the special edition figure and
the offer is good while supplies last. Requests must be postmarked by
April 30 and received by May 14. Then, in the fall, kids can ‘live’ the
TRANSFORMERS adventure as the “Hunt for the DECEPTICONS” promotion
begins. Look for exciting details about this interactive promotion
later in the year.
If fans can’t wait until 2011 for the next TRANSFORMERS movie they can
watch online webisodes of “Cyber Missions,” featuring new TRANSFORMERS
adventures. “Cyber Missions” finds the AUTOBOTS working with humans in
the N.E.S.T. global alliance to defend Earth against the
revenge-seeking DECEPTICONS. There will be 12 webisodes total which
began airing online at www.TRANSFORMERS.com in early January and new webisodes will continue to air throughout the year.
BUMBLEBEE continues to be one of the most popular TRANSFORMERS heroes
as he acts as both a defender and a warrior for good. The new BATTLE
OPS BUMBLEBEE action figure continues to push the boundaries of
TRANSFORMERS toy innovation and showcases two sides of BUMBLEBEE with
features unique to each of these roles. For example, when serving as a
guardian, BUMBLEBEE features more playful phrases along with authentic
engine sounds and lights. Then, when converted into battle mode, BATTLE
OPS BUMBLEBEE has missile launchers that pop out, a converting plasma
cannon that lights up, and phrases that change to reflect his battle
personality.
Expanding upon the essence of DEVASTATOR — a robot built by combining
multiple construction vehicles — the TRANSFORMERS brand unveils the new
POWER CORE COMBINERS expression that redefines the magic of combination
play. The toys deliver an interchangeable system of robots, vehicles
and weapons that escalates the level of fun and increases the number of
robots within a child’s TRANSFORMERS toy universe.
For those wanting to engage in heroic AUTOBOT role play, the
TRANSFORMERS line offers new items including the OPTIMUS PRIME CYBER
SWORD toy which features lights, battle and conversion sounds, as well
as key phrases from OPTIMUS PRIME.
And for the youngest AUTOBOT-in-training, the TRANSFORMERS brand
unveils the new ACTIVATORS expression of action figures. Designed with
the youngest TRANSFORMERS fans in mind, ACTIVATORS toys feature easier
conversion from vehicle to robot modes than traditional TRANSFORMERS
figures and are available in popular characters such as OPTIMUS PRIME,
BUMBLEBEE and MEGATRON.
