The latest issue of TV-Boy (Terebi-kun) contained an article about Transformers Animated and confirmed that the show will start airing in Japan in April (the usual time for new anime series) on TV Aichi. The issue of TV-Boy also came with a DVD where Optimus Prime, voiced by Jiroki Takahashi, gives an introduction to the series.
The magazine once again talks about how the show will be set within the Movie Universe (something it seems that a lot of people missed despite it being reported several months ago, at least it was right here), which is why Bulkhead's name was changed to Ironhide (again this was explained in months ago).
You can view some images of the magazine below, expect a full gallery of this and other Japanese hobby magazines later this evening.

Kotaku.com have recently interview Matt Tieger of High Moon Studios who is the lead designer on the upcoming Transformers: War For Cybertron video game. The interview was primarily based on whether the multi-player mode would enable players to combine into Devastator. The answer was no, "The guy who is
the kneecap, what does he do?" Matt replied when asked the question. Kotaku.com was also told that they would "only include robots that turn into a vehicle", which isn't really surprising.

In an interview with MTV's Brian Warmoth Hasbro's CEO Brian Goldner told MTV News "You’re going to see that great core mythology brought to the fore, and
Michael is hard at work at making this a reality and we’re very excited
about it ... I mean, I think it’s a great time to put it out in 2011
and we’re very excited about the movie.". Brian also confirmed that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will both return for the third movie before going on to state that "What we’re really doing is getting back to some of the core character
development and storytelling. And I think there’s some elements of the
core story that the filmmakers, Michael in particular wanted to tell, ... He’s really well-versed in the Transformers lore.
So I think you’ll see, you know, less bedlam, more characters."

The scans show some of the early prototypes of the 1986 Transformers lineup, including a Galvatron with larger weapons, a
yellow Tailgate, a white Hub Cap, a grey Runamuck, a different head for Hot Spot, different coloured parts for Superion, a different head for Kup and various alternative sticker sheets.
