Are you a fan of Starscream? Are you in Japan on the 31st October 2010? If so you may be interested into heading to Kohinta for the "Starscream Only" event which will be taking place. Yes Japanese fans have organised a get-together that celebrates the popular seeker. The event will have cosplay and fan produced comics (doujinshi) all based around Starscream. Click the link for more.
Not only content with updating his blog with his own material Jim Sorenson has posted a blog letting everyone know that his "esteemed colleague" and quite frankly all-round "awesome dude" (ask anyone that met the pair of them at Auto Assembly 2010) Bill Forster has updated his Deviant Art
gallery with yet more of his original artwork from The
AllSpark Almanac II. Here's the low-down from Jim on the updates that Bill posted
This time around, he's uploaded our Reverse-Pretender alter-egos, Octus and
Megadeath,
some heads from the Great War like Moonradar
and Gigatron
(a.k.a. RID Megatron, Animated style), some Maccadam's heads like
the adorable Clipper,
and more.
I think my favorite might be Skids.
While, obviously, it was movie-style Skids that inspired the design,
the idea that he'd be infested with brain parasites came from G1 Skids,
where he spent well over 100 UK issues in limbo after Galvatron
time-displaced him there. I thought it funny to include this element,
but with the much uglier RotF Skids.
Swing by, let Bill know what you think of his work!

Ken Christiansen has updated his blog with some designed of Transformers Bumblebee, Jazz and Inferno which are alternative ideas from Transformers Prime,
Mr Christiansen is working as a concept artist on Transformers Primeand has previously worked on Activisions Transformers: The Game and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen computer games.
"Yes I did work on Transformers : Prime. No,
these images (Click on the Title Bar to see) are NOT from that work.
You have to wait until October to see those...
But, now that some of those images are starting to come out, I wanted to
try to do some studies to match the official style. Just really rough
at this point, trying to find some of the basics.
Obviously, TFP Bumblebee is based on the movie Camaro, so I wanted to
try a pass with him as the Beetle, and how that old vehicle form could
break up in new ways. Then I took a crack at Jazz (I don't know if
there's any TF/Prime images of him out, and I honestly don't know if
he's in the lineup for the show - I didn't work on him, in any case) and
based him on more of the TF:Animated styling. And then for fun, I just
picked a random Autobot, and did Inferno. He was the last one I did,
and I think I started to capture some of the TFP looks...
Tomorrow, some Decepts..."

Due to the recent buzz surrounding Hasbro's instruction sheet archive we have decided to port a feature of the next incarnation of Transformers At The Moon, what will be version 9) into the current live site. The feature is the "Hasbro Instruction Sheet Area". This area is very similar to our Hasbro Trademark area in as much as the information is a mirror of external data but in a format that makes it much easier to navigate. We rigorously check for both new trademark applications as well as Hasbro instruction sheets, though until now this project has been under-wraps, meaning that Transformers At The Moon will be able to bring you not only the latest trademark application first but also the latest Transformers Instruction Sheet news first as well.
You can browse the PDF files based on their Hasbro given names as well as by the publication date, meaning its even easier to find out when Hasbro publish new entries. Any new entries will also be covered as news stories to ensure that everyone is made aware.
Currently the section contains 711 pdf instruction sheets.
