This is a hot of the press band new news story based on something that happened 12 years ago. As part of yet another haul of back issues of TV Magazine we've managed to finally pick up documented proof of the Lucky Draw Beast Ware figures. Previously only rumours have circulated regarding these, but now we haev full first hand proof of the toys, including images (though they are on yellow pages.
We can now confirm that in the March 1998 issue of TV Magazine the following Beast Wars prize draw figures took place.
1) 1x Gold Convoy + Gold Megatron
2) 6x Gold Convoys
3) 1x Gold Convoy, Gold Cheetas, Gold Rhinox, Gold Rattrap, Gold Dinobot
This is the first time that the Gold Beast Wars figures of Cheetor, Rhinox, Rattrap and Dinobot have been confirmed, as well as showing that 8 Gold Optimus Primals (Convoy's) were given out during a draw with only 1 Megatron (previously reported as limited to 3).
We will upload images to Lucky Draw Transformers and Transformers At The Moon in due course

Just a quick update on the Welcome to Transformers 2010 Unicrons which we have ordered in from Toy Hobby Market. As you may recall we have ordered 10 of the figures which are packed 2-per-case which we are then selling on to fellow fans and collectors obviously keeping one back for ourselves. Well the shipment recently arrived at our Japanese contact who will be sending the figures out to us shortly. There are still some of the figures available if anyone is interested for £120.
You can find an image of our order below.

Just a quick reminder to
Transformers Animated fans that the next wave of Japanese figures goes on sale tomorrow (2nd October 2010). The main release from this wave is
Armorhide (Ironhide). October is a big month for Transformers Animated in Japan as the increasing popularity of the series has means that a TakaraTomy bought many releases forward and decided to release other Transformers Animated items in Japan that originally were not going to be released.

Such is the high profile of not only Hasbro but Transformers these days, that Bloomberg have covered the USPTO trademark application for "Transformers One" that Hasbro Inc recently filed and was reported first right here at Transformers At The Moon.
Sadly no reference was made to this site breaking the news of the trademark application, something I personally worked very hard to ensure would happen back in April 2005 when we first started our Transformers Trademark area. For those visitors who have never looked at that area of the site it contains every Transformers related trademark application by Hasbro to the USPTO that I could find since 1984, with both the current status of the application as well as its complete history.
