Think back a few weeks and you'll remember that the first images of Hasbro's Transformers: Reveal the Shield Solar Storm Grappel, with that spelling, well now images of the Japanese version, Transformers United Grapple can be seen over on AmiAmi.
For those wondering about the differences, the Japanese version uses orange plastic and not yellow, including an orange head making it more cartoon accurate.

Reports are coming in that the third Transformers movie, believed to be the grammatically strange Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has now finished.
There are conflicting reports if this finshing of filming is just within the US or also internationally.
If the film has finished, which is due for release in 2011, we should be able to expect something official coming out later this year as the online viral and teaser campaigns run.

Shane McCarthy has updated his blog with an entry that contains an RTF download of the Drift script which gives everyone a look at how the first issue of the Drift mini-series was presented to the artists.
I get a lot of questions regarding how I go about writing and
specifically how I lay out my scripts. I figured it was time to post
one up to make it easier to see how I go about it all…Maybe down the track I’ll post up how I get to full
script in more detail but for now I’ll just say I follow the usual path
of basic idea…outline…beatsheet…full script.
I’ve chosen the script from TRANSFORMERS: DRIFT #1. I write my
scripts in Final Draft but I present it here in Rich Text format to make
it more accessible.
Enjoy.

Another Amazon update has revealed a very loose plot summary for the third live action Transformers film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and
Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil
Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and
Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S.
and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of
his robot friends. There's new characters too, including a new villain
in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules
Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

You may remember a month or so ago we announced news that Paramount Pictures published details of a gold deluxe Transformers Animated Megatron figure. Well the page was pulled after four days of being online from their server and nothing was ever officially said again, that is until now as TakaraTomy have updated their own site with the same images and information on the competition which you can find here.
The toy will be officially limited to 1000 pieces, though like the Gold Animated Optimus Prime, more will be made

Well it didn't take long, the Hub officially launched on the 10th October and within three days its already causing problems in the US with campaign groups up in arms about the station just being an advert for Hasbro toys. "The notion of a toy company owning a television channel for the sole purpose of promoting their toys is egregious practice," said Susan Linn, director of the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood.
Not only that but legal groups are already preparing cases against the Hasbro / Discovery joint venture for unfair competition amongst other charges.

Credit to TFW2005 for finding that Hasbro have already filed an application with the USPTO for the mark The Dark Of The Moon. That is of course the title of the third and final Michael Bay live action Transformers Movie.
Our own Trademark checking revealed that Hasbro actually filed for the mark under four separate categories.
