Part One Limited have updated e-Hobby Shop with the first images of their exclusive Transformers Generations Scrap-Head's head
It's been a busy news day for me, I've not posted this many news stories in years.
HK-TF.com member L-U has posted an extensive look at Reveal The Shield Deluxe G2 Optimus Prime. The figure is an updated version of the Geneation Two Laser Rod Optimus Prime (one of the best ever Transformers toys). The figure features amazing articulation and a sword, but i'm not so convinced on the head.
Check out the link for a look. There is also one on ebay for $150, if you can't wait for it.
An auction has appeared on ebay for the Gold Transformers Animated Megatron figure, along with the Gold Transformers Animated Optimus Prime toy.
The auction is for $999.99 for the set of two gold Transformers Animated figures.
Remember to check out Lucky Draw Transformers for the most comprehensive, and only dedicated, website to the Japanese Prize Campain Transformers Toys.
Looking for the ultimate Christmas present, well on eBay you will find two auctions (in the UK) for the awesome Transformers 2010 Toy Hobby Market Exclusive Unicron figures.
The first auction is a Buy it now, for £150.00 (inculding free shipping in the UK).
The second auction is a usual auction, start price for £120, with a Buy It Now of £150.
There are two new Robn Freeman auction galleries / uploads for you today, if you are following them.
First up is G1son's images of the colour character designs of the Transformers characters.
Second is a download made available by Jim Sorenson
And now, the third part of the spoils of our little charitable
collective endeavor. I'm continuing to upload scans from the Hasbro
Briefing Binder. This is the second tab, marked Decepticons. There are
definitely some items of interest, like a corrected design for Rumble's
gun, or the note that Megatron's head should be 20% bigger.
In a response to a comment regarding Michael Bay not being involved with the teaser trailer for Transformers Dark of the Moon over on ShootForTheEdit.com, forum administrator Nelson posted the following reply:
"Wrong. He said initially he didn't have anything to do with it and then later became totally involved. Who do you think shot those NASA, astronauts walking on the moon, and Ark scenes?".
Now is Nelson simply teasing fans or is this the reveal that the spaceship seen in the trailer is actually The Ark?
Simon Furman has updated his blog with the tenth entry in his series of scripts from the unfinished Dreamwave Transformers Energon series. Today's update contains the second half of the outline for the unpublished Transformers Energon issue 35, ‘Armageddon part 4?.

Part One Ltd have updated e-Hobby Shop with images of both their exclusive Autobot (Cybertron) and Decepticon (Destron) 3 packs.
The Autobot set comprises of a Clear Blue HotRod, Kup and Scrap Head (a remold of Wreck-Gar) whilst the Decepticons are Clear Blue Galvatron, Clear Purple Cyclonus and Clear Blue Scourge (representing when Unicron reformated them).
I have updated the website with an image gallery of the latest additional to our ever-expanding collection, the Toy Hobby Market exclusive, "Welcome to Transformers 2010" Universal Dominator Unicron figure. The toy is a heavily recoloured Armada Unicron with a new head sculpt based on the 1986 Transformers: The Movie cartoon. If I were to sum up the toy in one word that world would be AMAZING. TakaraTomy not only gave the figure a much improved head, but the new colour scheme vastly improved what was already a pretty good toy. The figure is painted in such a way that it highlights many of the details that were hidden on the previous version of the mold.
The image gallery includes comparison photographs with the Armada version of the toy as well as the Lucky Draw Green Unicron figure that we own. You will also see side-by-side comparison images of the mini-cons to highlight the differences with Dead-End as well.
If you are interested in owning one of these toys, we still have some available for £120 including recorded postage within the UK, so just drop us an email .
Kadokawa.co.jp have updated their stores listing for Transformers Animated: The Cool Special Edition which will come with a crystal Transformers Activator Optimus Prime so that they are now taking orders.
Following on from the images we bought to you yesterday from the Jan 2011 issue of Hyper Hobby, thanks to ModXToys.com, we can now bring you full image galleries of the January 2011 issues of Hyper Hobby and TVBoy. TVBoy AKA TV-Kun contains only two pages of Transformers related figures, but if you are a fan of other Japanese shows its work a look through.
The images can be found both on Transformers At The Moon and on LuckyDrawTransformers.com.
Jim Sorenson has posted an update on his blog regarding the Ron Friedman auction that he won that contained the preliminary script for Transformers: The Movie (that's the 1986 film).
"Last month, a group of dedicated fans pooled their resources to attempt to purchase a piece of Transformers history; scripts and other documents from Transformers movie writer Ron Friedman. Many scripts were won by our coalition, but perhaps the most anticipated among the many documents we purchased was an early draft of The Transformers: The Movie, dated 4/27/1985. I've scanned it in and done a preliminary OCR pass, so without further ado, here it is for download!"
The script contains the dialogue for many scenes that did not make the final draft including Megatron's reference to his "Spark", action for Sunstreaker and Wheeljack and the how the fate of Earth was also going to hang in the balance. Some of the information was already known about, like the Predacons originally being Autobots called Anibots, but what is new (at least to us) is that their names were finalised as Simba (Razorclaw), Pardo (Rampage), Shriek (Divebomb), Thump (Headstrong) and Clump (Tantrum). Other new characters are Stripes and Stinger two other cassettes for Blaster. Form the script its obvious that Streeljaw was to be called Cubbie, a Tiger was going to be called Stripes, a scorpion was going to be called Stinger and there was only going to be one robot, Bolts. We had heard rumours of a scorpion cassette many years ago, but always put it down to the watch scorpion confusing people as we could find no further evidence.
