Transformers Rumours

In an update on KOToys.com regarding a new knock-off Generation One Devastator Mike posted the following update when asked whether he had more information on their release.

"no, not sure about those, the guy who makes these is not very good at communication."

So it could be that those knock-offs have been delayed or maybe even cancelled.  Either way you can find images of the boxes they would come in on that thread.

Transformers Movie News

Both Michael Bay, via his own website, and Paramount Pictures, via TFW2005 have confirmed that the Twins from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Mudflap and Skids will not be appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

After the internet posting of a nice review by someone who saw Transformers Dark of the Moon, the writer had not been clear on one thing. He misstated that the Twins are in the film. They are not.So I am offering a $25,000 REWARD to anyone who can find them performing in Transformers 3, on July 1, when the movie opens.

Transformers Movie News

Thanks to new father Paul Hitchens (The Spacebridge) for reporting the Transformers Dark of the Moonhas now already been launched in the UK (2 days early).  The toys were spotted in Sainsbury last night.

Evening guys

It's been mentioned already in the UK sightings thread but I thought I would confirm with some pictures
DOTM TOYS ARE OUT IN THE UK!

I found them in Sainsburys but there have been sightings in other stores

I found voyagers (Prime, Megatron, Ironhide) Deluxes (Lots of Bumblebees!, Starscream, Roadbuster, Crankcase, Ratchet) and loads of the lil Cyberverse toys (They also had the larger Cyberverse Prime's and Megatrons)

Prices all gone up sadly, Voyagers £22.99, Deluxe £12.99 and Cyberverse £4.99. The bigger Cyberverse were £7.99 I think

Pictures below, happy hunting!!!

Here is a copy of the latest Auto Assembly press release

Auto Assembly Releases Script Reading Videos Online...!

We've been working hard with our Youtube Channel over the last few weeks preparing lots of new videos for all of you including a lot of major news videos that we will be uploading over the next couple of weeks, but right now we're pleased to announce the first in a series of uploads coming over the next couple of weeks featuring archive footage from the convention itself...
The first of these is online NOW and we are proud to announce the re-release of our first ever script reading from Auto Assembly 2009. Featuring a brand new 25 minute Beast Wars story written by man-of-the-moment Simon Furman, this was a fun script that played strictly for laughs and featured performances by our voice actor guests Gregg Berger and Ian James Corlett and comic artists Nick Roche and Simon Williams, supported by fans who auditioned for the remaining roles.
Previously uploaded to Youtube in three parts, it has now been remastered as a single part video and in High Definition, you can watch this much loved script as only our convention attendees were able to! You can see the full video on our channel here:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqSQoOSc8gw
The script readings have become an Auto Assembly tradition since 2009 and are a part of our Saturday night programme which is exclusive for those who attend the convention for the full weekend. In 2010, our script was again written for us by Simon Furman and featured Garry Chalk, Scott McNeil, Nick Roche and Simon Williams and will be available on Youtube in the next seven days so keep checking the channel to see what you have missed out.
If you are considering attending Auto Assembly 2011, this is a great way to get a teaser for what you can expect from our 2011 script! Again, Simon Furman is at the helm and David Kaye and Gregg Berger are both confirmed to take starring roles. Who else will be performing? You'll have to come along to find out...!
More convention footage will be uploaded shortly including panels from Auto Assembly 2009 and 2010, and Garry Chalk's acoustic concert from Auto Assembly 2010! We also have more massive announcements and news videos coming soon so keep an eye out for our next video shortly including our next guest update...
Tickets for Auto Assembly 2011 are available now from our website. Ticket prices are £50 for adults and £38 for children, students and senior citizens, with under 5s admitted free. One day tickets are available for the Saturday or Sunday (although these will NOT get you into the Friday or Saturday evening programmes) and these cost £30 for adults, £21 for children, students or senior citizens and under 5's as always are free. Family tickets will be available shortly.
The convention is taking place over the weekend of 12th - 14th August 2011 at the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, Birmingham, England. Tickets for Auto Assembly 2012 will go on sale later this year.
