As always Transformers At The Moon will do our best to bring you the important coverage from this years Botcon. We will be in attendance at Botcon 2011
ourselves, so we will look to update the website with galleries and news from our
travels as well as bringing you live news throughout the day using
our own auto-updating scripts so you can just bookmark a news story
and read all of the updates as they happen.
Like our coverage of other conventions in the past, we will also look to bring you round-ups of articles from around the world, ensuring that you can read all of the coverage from the event from as many sources and views as possible.
Our non-competitive approach to news is something we have become well known for over the last 12 years and is something we are very proud of and, as such, we would like to remind you all that you can keep up-to-date by following our exclusive In The News section of the website that brings you the very latest headlines from many official and fan sites from around the world. You may well find those sites report different news from areas of Botcon before us as this site is maintained by two people as a hobby as oppose to the staff that run most "fan sites" these days, so we can not cover everything that will be going on at once.
If you are attending Botcon yourself and you would like to say hello, we will not be difficult to spot. During the convention just look for a pair of mirror twins, if that is not enough of a give away, at some point we will both be wearing Auto Assembly committee T-shirts, which will be even more of a clue.
The first Botcon exclusive is now officially in the hands of attendees with the release of the Botcon 2011 Customising Class Minerva figure. The figure is a recolour of the Arcee toy but remolded with new "ears". You can see the images and the official design from Derrick J Wyatt below.
Toycollectors.com.au have posted the first image of the Hasbro release of Masterpiece Rodimus Prime. The
toy comes packaged in robot mode, is recoloured and comes with an exclusive Targetmaster figure. The trailer for the toy is not shown, which is interesting considering that he his marked up as Rodimus Prime and not Hot Rod. The image also confirms what was long expected, that the toy will be a Toys R Us exclusive.

First I would like to say sorry to Jim Sorenson for posting this news story almost a week after the event, but better late than never I suppose. Last Tuesday Jim updated his blog Disciples of Boltax, with the latest Ark Addendum which was entitled Enter the Nightbird (part 2). As the name suggests this entry follows on from a previous Ark Addendum, one that was posted by in Feb before Jim started to focus on the Ron Friedman auctions. The post continues with some character models from the episode and includes a bonus download of the Partial Script for Enter the Nightbird: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5BWK6K3U

KOToys have posted more images of their upcoming releases that we have been recently covering. First up GenZhao posted some more images of the final samples of Ghost Thundercracker and Ghost Skywarp. These toys are knock-offs of the Transformers Classics Starscream figure, made up to look like Thundercracker and Skywarp but with transparent plastic.
This was followed by more images of the boxes and cards for their upcoming combiner Cassette knock-offs. These include the first two of the rare and high-priced Japanese dinosaur cassettes. The boxes and inserts are made up to look as close to the originals as they could, which means you must take care when seeing these figures for sale. Though you will note that at the moment both of the Japanese Dinosaur cassettes have the same numbered instructions. This will probably change come the final release, but if not it will be the best way to tell the figures apart.
This was then followed up by more images of their upcoming Death Starscream figure. This toy is based on the e-Hobby Black Starscream that was released during the Collectors Edition years.
Hasbro Inc submitted a trademark application for
