Non-Official - Kraken Bio-Armour - Information
The 2nd Roll Out / Roll Call 2 convnetion, which mixes Action Force (G.I-Joe) and Transformers took place on Sunday 6th March in Fordinghambridge, Hampshire within the UK. The event
has a few exclusives including prints, t-shirts and cups but it also had its own exclusive figure. The figure
was a limited edition Pretender based on the Action Force toy called the Kraken. the toy is a non-official third party product that
was designed and produced within the UK. He comes complete with his blaster and net. Here is the back story that was printed
on the exclusive card backing that accompanied his partner, the mini-con Treadshot.
As a tribute to both the Kraken and The Pretenders, Treadshot with Kraken Bio-Armour is exclusive to Roll Out Roll Call 2.
Developed and produced in the UK.
Striking a dark deal with The Decepticons in return for new soliders to the Red Shadow cause, The Black
Major has agreed to subvert DNA of the Kraken to create a synthetic organic outer shell to disguise and enhance the power
of Decepticon Mini-Concs. Treadsho, whose secret ambition is to destroy his rival Mini-Cons, volunteered for the
opportunity to pilot the new Kraken Bio-Armour. Armed with the deadly Trident Laserm Treadshot can operator independently of his Kraken
Bio-Armour with devasting effect. Treadshot follows the orders of The Black Major for now, but for how long no one knows.

Non-Official - Kraken Bio-Armour - Toy Review
The Kraken is a really well made. He is considerably heavier than any other pretender due to the materials that were made. You can tell that the
figure was hand-painted as you can still smell the paint (no sniffing it to try to get high kids). The head and arms are not pinned in place which means they can be removed, though the arms are
fitted tight enough to pose and will not fall out. The head is another matter however. Because of the
weight it tends to fall off when you open the shell so do take care. The figure has some nice detail on the scales and is well finished both by the paint apps and also by the inclusion of his tri-pod weapon
and net.
As you will see from the pictures, the figure is slightly taller than the many of the other pretenders but does generally fit in very nicely with them.
Due to the limited run, this figure will be pretty difficult to pick up on the 2nd hand market, so if you want one, I encourage you to look around sooner rather than later.
