Non-Official - Cobra - Information
The toy featured in this gallery is a prototype of the Headrobots Cobra figure, in pre-release colours. The toy is not an official Hasbro or Takara-Tomy product but was based on some original concept art published in the Transformers The Complete Ark art book.

Non-Official - Cobra - Toy Review
The Cobra Headrobot figure was the first toy produced by the Headrobot company. The figure was based on some unused design work by Takara and was released in 2010. The figure in this gallery is a prototype fo the Cobra figure, with the final version featuring a different colour scheme.
Cobra can fit on all regular Transformers Headmaster figures, including the original Headmasters and Headmaster Junior toys. The first batch of images we have taken with the prototype include the worldwide released figures (or American Headmasters), although we also plan to show the figure attached to the Headmaster Junior figures (Japanese) as well as their Western counterparts.
Whilst taking the original pictures we discovered that Cobra does not fit on the fake scaled down Fortress Maximus figure (shown in this gallery) and also struggles to fit on Brainstorm that well, due to the molding on the Brainstorm toy - althouugh the figure does fit, it doesn't fit fully. Cobra is also loose on some of the other figures, such as Snaptrap.
The quality of the Headrobot figure is high, especially as it's not a mass produced figure by TakaraTomy. The toy's transformation is simple, but based on the original concepts, and it's final production version does the artwork proud. The prototype figure probably looks best on Mindwipe or Highbrow.
If you are a fan of the Headmaster figures then you should certainly keep an eye out for Cobra and the other Headrobot figures.
