Master Piece - Grimlock - Information
Masterpiece Grimlock was the eigth toy from the Transformers Masterpiece line and the 4th mould.
The toy was first released in Japan towards the end of March 2009. We purchased ours from RobotKingdom and
received him on the 14th April. The toy comes in one of the larger Masterpiece boxes and comes with his
Energo-Sword, dual blaster, intelligence transfer helmet (from Grimlocks new brain), and waiter outfit (bow-tie, apron, drinks tray and various drinks).
You can change the colour of Grimlock's eyes from red (that he comes boxed with) to blue in both robot and dinosaur modes.
In robot mode this is controlled by a small lever on the back of his head. In Dinosaur mode, the top of the T-rex head
flips up and their is a "cross piece" that can be rotated to change the eyes. Grimlock also has lights that
work in a simliar way to the Generation Two Lazer Rods. The LED is fitting into his right fist to light up
both the sword and blasters. Unfortunately this means that only the thumb is poseable on that hand. On the left hand, the fingers
are also articulated.

Master Piece - Grimlock - Toy Review
The toy is well balanced in robot mode with a fantastic look. Ino Dinosaur mode he still looks great, but his hips look a little wide
when veiwed from the front. He also does not clip together very well on the tail, so it can be a bit of a fiddle. Though that being said
he appears to be much more show accurate than the previous versions of this figure and overall is a worthy purchase.
The toy is noticable heavier than MP Starscream and MP Megatron and appears to be made from better quality plastic.
