This was the second Transformers board game released, this time in 1986 by Milton Bradley. The came featured small transforming Transformers figures, which converted from a Cybertronian Jet Mode to Robot mode. The figures were red, blue, green and yellow in colour and featured very basic "flip" transformations.

Unlike the previous Transformers game, Defeat the Decepticons, this Transformers game was simply called Transformers Game. It also featured a more simplistic, and standard, movement method. Roll a single die and move. If you landed on a square occupied by another coloured robot you "fought". The winner of the fight would transform into robot mode. The idea was to get all of your Transformers figures into robot form, so they could enter the base (end tile).

The way the fights worked was on a simplistic "card comparison basis". There were 5 cards with differnet values. The fights were a Best of Three round, unless there was a draw. Motormaster represented 1, Silverbolt represented 2, Cyclonus 3, Defensor 4 and Galvatron 5. We have no idea why these characters were chosen, and it's strange that Ultra Magnus was not used in the place of Defensor.
