He says that there are only a handful of characters and stories, and all we can do is re-interpret them. I'm with Galvy on this one. Or maybe, Fanzone could have a junior officer injured and rebuilt using Autobot technology - The Officer, lets call him 'Detective Samophlange' solves crimes (despite his ineptness) aided only by his niece and a dog with a radio... Ooo! Fanzone could give him a message that self destructed everyweek, and everyweek Fanzone would end up with it - with hilarious consequences! Just needs a catchy theme tune... doo de doo de doo Detective Samophlange, doo ded doo de doo de doooooo!
