Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Sainsburies has a half price on all toys thing going on, so I finally got ROTF Demolishor for a price I was willing to pay. Of course, I hadn't expected to like him so much...

Is he worth it even at that price? To be honest I'd rather have devastator, simply because I don't already have 8 versions of him.

Well I am a Bumblebee collector and I do like the new, albeit flimsy, battle mask and the fact that one of the songs is now 'The Touch' by Stan Bush. Yes okay its probably not worth the money if you already own Ultimate Bumblebee, which I do, but I am a bit supid! Wink

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Just got back from the States. Not so into the currently available TF toys, but I picked up a few that i like. Sadly no Animated there other than what i'ver already seen/don't care about:

ROTF The Fallen
ROTF Stalker Scorponok
ROTF Ice Cream Truck
Universe Hardhead (Wal-mart excl)
Universe SkyFall (Wal-mart excl)

Hardhead is an amazing repaint and spot on for the Classics. I don't own Silverbolt or Darkwing so getting a version of that toy was nice. SkyFall's bio sold me, he sounds so badass!

On reflection, The Fallen is a nice display piece and only worth the $13 that I paid. Glad I never succumbed to paying the asking price here.
Stalker Scorponok is a guilty pleasure because I love the toy and character.
The Ice Cream Truck is the guiltiest pleasure of all, and whilst the robot modes (heads anyway) are awful, the combining truck is great. The bonet does strughgle to stay in place though.

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Universe Ultra Silverbolt and Storm Cloud.

Couldn't resist them as they were so cheap, and Storm Cloud's ended up being better than I thought he would be.

360 MiniCons and counting.
