Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
Universe Ironhide and Dragstrip from the always awsome Kapow Toys!
Two Brawns and a Windcharger keyring from Play as they are reduced to £1.49! and £2.49 respectively. Ironhide: Vehicle mode sucks, but knew that before I bought him. When I first opened him I was a bit meh. But half hour later I really like him!! Great to pose, just need to get rid of his blue face and I'll be happy. Dragstrip: Not opened him yet, still deciding whether to release him as I've got the mold twice already on display! Looks great and the box is pretty cool as well. "Prime with no faceplate? Surely you can't be serious?" "I am serious,.... and don't call me Shirley!!" |

Stealth Lockdown thanks to Oddsey. What an excellent figure and the 2 legends figures are brill as well. He may look dull in the box as there is no light on him but take him out of the box and he is lovely and translucent.

I overcharged you by 43p. I forgot about the change in the VAT rate!! But the postage was 2p more expensive than they quoted, so that makes it 41p! "Prime with no faceplate? Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
TRU at Fort Kinnaird (outside Edinburgh) had him and ratchet and also, rather oddly, classics deluxe prime and megs. skipped the premium series guys but picked up the classics guys as well as universe sideswipe and ironhide, and some robot heroes to take my total above £50 to get a free "cybertron voyager" (movie mudflap or inferno, took mudflap).
Are the classic deluxes limited to this TRU or has anyone spotted them elsewhere? they just turned up completely at random so it could just have been a random case found at the back of the stockroom. |

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
They didn't get a proper release over here on the single cards before now, they were in the two pack before. It's nationwide as far as I know, definitely available here in Notts at least!

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys
The single-carded ones were intended for European release only, but only made it out to certain stores. I saw them in Edinburgh Forbidden Planet and heard of them in a few random Woolies.
Were there still hundreds of the Bumblebee and Ratchet pack at Toys R Us at Kinnaird Park/Fort Kinnaird? 360 MiniCons and counting. Click the pic to visit my site. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. |
